At Premier Bikes, we&#039;re proud to offer the full range of KTM Enduro machines, built to dominate everything from tight forest trails to technical mountain climbs. These bikes are engineered for riders who crave precision, power and relentless performance, no matter the terrain.

        2-Stroke Enduro Powerhouses - Including the KTM 150 EXC

Our selection of KTMs 2-stroke Enduro models delivers a seriously punchy ride with featherweight handling. Ideal for those who thrive on tight technical sections or quick transitions, these bikes give you that raw connection to the ground that only a 2-stroke can.

The KTM 150 EXCis a standout, particularly for younger riders or those just getting into the scene. Its light, agile, and built to rip through the trails with confidence. This model also forms part of the KTM Enduro 250 EXC segment, blending competition-ready components with razor-sharp responsiveness.

Other models like the 250 and 300 EXC set the standard in the hard enduro world, combining advanced fuel-injection tech with extreme low-end torque, a deadly combo when things get gnarly.

Whether youre trail riding or taking on full-on enduro events, KTMs 2-strokes continue to be a go-to choice for riders who want a no-nonsense machine with explosive power and serious agility.

        4-Stroke Enduro Machines - Featuring the KTM Enduro 250 EXC-F

If you&#039;re chasing smoother power delivery, superior traction, and long-distance rideability, KTMs 4-stroke Enduro range will hit the mark.

Take the KTM Enduro 250 EXC-F for example, this mid-range beast balances rideability and aggression like no other. Whether you&#039;re riding tight woodland routes or open-flowing tracks, it delivers a smooth yet commanding punch across the rev range. Pair that with its feather-light chassis, and you&#039;ve got a machine built to go the distance.

For riders wanting even more grunt, the 350 EXC-F and 500 EXC-F are serious contenders. These bikes are trusted by pros and trail fanatics alike, with motors that pull hard but dont wear you out across long sessions.

Every 4-stroke KTM Enduro model is packed with high-spec suspension, sharp geometry and lightweight frames, giving you pinpoint control in any off-road scenario.

    <title>THE ORIGINAL SCALPEL GETS A SHARPENING FOR 2025</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/the-original-scalpel-gets-a-sharpening-for-2025</link>
    <description>
        The ORIGINAL SCALPEL rolls into 2025, bringing its signature style and razor-sharp precision to the streets, with updated tech, sharper lines and two all-new colorways coming along for the ride.

In 2025, the KTM 790 DUKE continues its assault on the tarmac, boasting unmatched agility. KTM is excited to announce the launch of two distinct variants of the KTM 790 DUKE, tailored to meet the needs of riders across different regions. For the European market, the KTM 790 DUKE is available in an A2 license-compatible version, delivering an impressive 95 PS at 8,000 rpm. This variant ensures compliance with local licensing regulations while maintaining the thrilling performance KTM is known for. Meanwhile, riders in the rest of the world can experience the full power of the KTM 790 DUKE, which boasts 105 PS at 9,500 rpm. Both versions of the bike produce a robust 87 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm, ensuring an exhilarating ride no matter where you are. The scalpel-like agility, impressive top-end surge, low fuel consumption, and distinct engine note, has made the KTM 790 DUKE massively popular since its first unveiling in 2017 and is now EURO 5+ compliant.

Not only packing a punch in the engine stakes, the 2025 KTM 790 DUKE retains its light handling, steering agility, and eagerness thanks to geometry developed specifically for sporty street riding with high-quality WP APEX suspension at each end. For 2025, a new 5 TFT dashboard replaces the previous 4,3 TFT dash and brings new functionality and usability to the package, giving riders access to KTMs Demo Mode, a telemetry screen, and an Anti-wheelie Mode with 6 setting levels. The TFT dash also gives way to an all-new switchgear, with more intuitive tactile functionality and are illuminated when riding in low light conditions.

The usual selection of Ride Modes, notably RAIN, STREET, and SPORT, with optional TRACK and PERFORMANCE Modes available allowing for customizable traction and throttle control settings. In terms of looks, the 2025 KTM 790 DUKE keeps its signature Naked aggressive looks with minor updates to the headlight cover, making it sharper than ever before, as well as two new colorways with a full range of specially developed KTM PowerParts available for further personalization.

Additionally, the 2025 KTM 790 DUKE comes with an exciting Premium Manufacturers Warranty of up to 4 years.

    <title>CHASE DOWN NEW UNCHARTED TERRITORIES WITH THE 2025 KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE R</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/chase-down-new-uncharted-territories-with-the-2025-ktm-1390-super-adventure-r</link>
    <description>
        Be it isolated ice-clad tundras, heavily wooded forests, or dried-up riverbeds, the 2025 KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE R is ready to cross borders in search of new, uncharted ground. The KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE R sits at the top of the offroad Adventure food chain and obliterates all challengers. The KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE R, provides off-grid Adventure motorcyclists with the ideal platform to travel beyond the beaten track.

        For 2025, the KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE R features an all-new bodywork design, LED lighting, a shorter, more offroad-focused windshield, and more storage binnacles. The 2025 KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE R sees an increase in frame stiffness, improving handling and track stability. A reworked crash bar fitted as standard on the SUPER ADVENTURE R has also been stiffened up to provide better protection thanks to an additional arm towards the engine bracket.

        Unlike the KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE S and S EVO, the KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE R is fitted with a more traditional suspension setup better suited to harder offroad use, with a 48 mm WP XPLOR split cartridge fork and WPs XPLOR Progressive Damping System (PDS) shock taking care of duties at the rear end.

        Engine displacement is increased from 1,300 to 1,350 cc, producing a staggering 173 Ps @ 9,500 rpm and 145 Nm @ 8,000 rpm, with all-new CAMSHIFT technology providing improved rideability in the low rpm range. This makes for a smoother response when negotiating tight trails.

        The innovative CAMSHIFT technology provides variable-valve timing with two individual cam profiles. At higher revs, the inlet cams shift sideways, opening the valves longer and higher for more gas flow into the cylinder head, which drastically increases performance, while in the lower rev range, the inlet cams have a reduced valve timing and lift. This results in a noticeable increase in rideability in both normal road conditions around town and high-performance use on faster, open roads.

        The KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE R also receives KTMs new premium electronics package, with an all-new 8 vertical-mounted dashboard. The 8 touchscreen features inductive technology, allowing easy operation even when wearing thick winter or offroad gloves. The screen also features innovative Anti-reflex, anti-fingerprint, and anti-glare coating which improves overall readability, as well giving riders access to new RIDE MODES, built-in Navigation, and Connectivity features.

        The new 2025 KTM 1390 SUPER ADVENTURE R will be rolling off the Austrian production line in 2025.

        The chassis benefits from the latest spec, fully adjustable WP XACT suspension (48 mm AER split air forks and 300 mm dual compression control tool-free rear shock with higher ground clearance for the linkage). The chassis hoists the 7.2 Liter (1.9 gallon) tank and also supports the carefully crafted rider triangle for ergonomics; permitting close control and grip of the bike in any condition and for a wide array of obstacles.

    <title>A WORLD OF ADVENTURE AWAITS WITH THE REFINED 2025 KTM 790 ADVENTURE</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/a-world-of-adventure-awaits-with-the-refined-2025-ktm-790-adventure</link>
    <description>
        The 2025 KTM 790 ADVENTURE has superseded the KTM 890 ADVENTURE, taking its rightful place below the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R as a more affordable, but extremely capable stablemate with new suspension setting the bar even higher. Thanks to a slew of recent upgrades in the previous generation, in 2024, KTM made the KTM 790 ADVENTURE more stable. Reworked throttle bodies brought cleaner and more efficient fueling, enhanced combustion, and a knock control sensor afforded improved capacity for lower octane fuel. The 2024 package included a reworked Power Assist Slipper Clutch, with new friction plates and an airbox that ensures improved breathing.

        However, for 2025, the suspension has received a welcomed upgrade, with the adjustable 43 mm WP APEX open cartridge front fork and WP APEX shock absorber taken directly from the KTM 890 ADVENTURE parts bin.

On the former, split function technology separates the compression and rebound damping between the two fork legs thanks to rebound and compression damping adjusters on the top cap of each fork leg. This allows for a more precise setup when riding two-up or more extreme offroad trails.

        The adjustable WP APEX shock absorber features 200 mm suspension travel with a rebound damping adjuster and a hand adjuster for the spring preload. This allows for easy alterations to the shock behavior in different riding situations.

The 2025 KTM 790 ADVENTURE also benefits from a wide KTM PowerParts collection, catering to protection, performance, or aesthetic add-ons. Two new dynamic and eye-catching colorways complete the package.

    <description>
        Designed for riders seeking more, the 2025 KTM 890 ADVENTURE R is set to retain its crown in the mid-weight travel kingdom with a new look to boot. The KTM 890 ADVENTURE R nameplate is well-known and for good reason. Offroad excellence and next-level capability have made it the go-to machine for hardcore Adventure riders. Taking cues from the Dakar-winning KTM 450 RALLY, the WP suspension package on the 2025 KTM 890 ADVENTURE R features time-proven hardware on each end, with a WP XPLOR 48mm fork and a WP XPLOR PDS rear shock getting the job done.

        Aesthetically, the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R also leans on its KTM 450 RALLY stable mate, with a low windshield, high front fender, rally-styled bodywork, and enhanced body protection. Rider comfort hasnt been forgotten, however, with the offroad-focused single-piece seat emphasizing mobility and grip, and a revitalized graphic set for 2025 finishing the looks package.

The 2025 KTM 890 ADVENTURE R might have a new graphics package but retains its proven hardware underneath.

    <title>The 2025 KTM 300 EXC Hardenduro Is Ready To Put Its Name To The Ultimate Test</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/the-2025-ktm-300-exc-hardenduro-is-ready-to-put-its-name-to-the-ultimate-test</link>
    <description>
        The 2025 KTM 300 EXC HARDENDURO draws inspiration from races bearing its name and stands as a testament to conquering the toughest enduro competitions worldwide.

Since its launch in 2024, the KTM 300 EXC HARDENDURO has become the premier model in the KTM Enduro lineup, achieving the top position in the 2025 range.

Having already clinched victories in the first two rounds of the 2024 FIM Hard Enduro World Championship and achieved three consecutive wins at the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo with Manuel Lettenbichler at the helm, the KTM 300 EXC stands as a formidable competitor. Through his and other pro-racer feedback, the 2025 KTM 300 EXC HARDENDURO is engineered to provide the ultimate READY TO RACE Enduro package.

The new standout technical feature of the 48 mm WP XACT closed-cartridge spring fork on the 2025 KTM 300 EXC HARDENDURO is the innovative adjustment of the base valve preload, which mirrors the design of our high-end aftermarket pro components. Adjusting the spring preload on the base valve significantly impacts and offers a broader range of adjustments.

The base valve preload adjusters enable seamless, on-the-fly adjustments by hand, with a total travel distance of 4 mma minor change that produces substantial effects.

For the rider, this translates to quick and effortless fork setup modifications: increasing preload for improved stability on fast enduro tracks or decreasing it for enhanced comfort in technical riverbeds. This adjustment impacts almost the entire stroke of the fork, and now it translates to full adjustable suspension, both front and rear.

Additionally, upgrades have been made to the rear shock settings, chain glider, and fuel tank roll.

However, as its nameplate suggests, the HARDENDURO is built to tackle the toughest terrain, featuring a collection of select and purposeful options over the standard KTM 300 EXC.

These include various protection parts, along with several signature HARDENDEURO-specific parts, such as;

NEW BLACK AND ORANGE, HARDENDURO GRAPHICS
ORANGE FRAME - BLACK FACTORY RACING SEAT
MAP-SELECT SWITCH
ORANGE FACTORY FRAME PROTECTOR SET
FACTORY WHEEL SET COMPRISED OF BLACK D.I.D RIMS, BLACK SPOKES, ORANGE HUBS, ORANGE NIPPLES

    <title>RACE. REST. REPEAT: KTM LAUNCHES BRAND NEW ‘ACADEMY OF SPEED’ TRACK SCHEME FOR 2024</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/race-rest-repeatktm-launches-brand-new-academy-of-speedtrack-scheme-for-2024</link>
    <description>
        Only a small minority get to feel the full power of a sportbikes potential around highly modern motorsport circuits. But there is nothing to stop the rest of us from dreaming, right? Well, KTM now wants to pull riders firmly into reality, and the KTM Academy of Speed is a brand-new initiative launching in 2024 that will bring orange passion, service, and pulse-quickening emotions to the customer track experience.

Across three events at three world class circuits in June, July, and September 2024 the KTM Academy of Speed will invite riders old and new to the brand (and to the racetrack) to sample high-pace, high quality guidance and high adrenaline with a premium edge.

72 places per day, each day, at the Salzburgring and Red Bull Ring (both in Austria) and the Automotodrm Slovakia Ring will be separated between three groups: Rookie, ambitious Amateur and Pro. There will be instructors and KTM ambassadors catering to every level. Furthermore help and coaching from the likes of MotoGP stars and former GP racer and MotoGP Team Manager Mike Leitner will happen both on and off the track. Pro riders (those with extensive trackday mileage and seeking to trim lap-times further) can bask in the full two-day schedule with enhanced technical support, and a pitbox setup with a seating and gear area. An evening dinner and entertainment program for all will foster a community spirit: the KTM Academy of Speed wants to provide first-rate tuition and create unforgettable moments both when the visor is clicked shut and when the leathers are packed away, and the stories are flowing.

The KTM Academy of Speed is the brainchild of ex-Grand Prix riders and a result of KTMs own passion for the asphalt. In 2023 Red Bull KTM Factory Racing seized two MotoGP Sprint wins and appeared on the podium nine times, finishing 4th in the championship with Brad Binder and 2nd in the constructors standings. KTM knows how to build a bike. The Grand Prix-winning competitiveness of the KTM RC16 and the KTM RC4 in Moto3 has accumulated numerous victories, rostrums and championships in the last 11 years.

The 2024 KTM Academy of Speed will fill up rapidly. The confirmed days are:
Salzburgring, Austria: 20-21 June 2024
Red Bull Ring, Austria: 17-18 July 2024
Slovakia Ring, Slovakia: 4-5 September 2024

The scheme is exclusive for what it offers but welcoming for riders of all skills. The KTM Academy of Speed has been created to appeal to motorcycle racing enthusiasts, KTM owners and fans of the brand, and then riders curious about their ability and who want to explore the next steps or limits.

For more information and, crucially, to reserve a slot on one of the 2024 KTM Academy of Speed dates through the online booking platform click HERE.

    <title>KTM SETS A NEW BENCHMARK WITH THE 2024 KTM FACTORY EDITIONS</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/ktm-sets-a-new-benchmark-with-the-2024-ktm-factory-editions</link>
    <description>
        Any condition, any race, any circumstance. The latest generation KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITIONs are primed to cut through the best and worst tracks and leave the opposition in its roost thanks to several ground-breaking updates for 2024. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing will soon be obliterating chronometers for the forthcoming Supercross and Motocross season thanks to the new 2024 KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION and the return of the 2024 KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION.

The KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITION concept remains the same: a highly evolved and modified spec of the current production model orientated towards pure performance. The upgrades have been tried, tested, and selected through use in competition. In short: what our Factory guys race, you race.

KTM knows that READY TO RACE is more than just hot numbers from the dyno or milometer. The KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITIONs have distinction and style and thats why aesthetic is important. As an example, a KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITION can be easily identified thanks to the orange powder-coated frame, usually a feature only reserved for our works machinery.

What do the new KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION and KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION have in store? First of all, the Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO) is an important new addition. This two-part system is mounted between the right fork leg (protected by the new shape of the number plate) and the GPS component on the redesigned front fender. The (CUO) enables a wealth of easily adjustable options for engine behavior and suspension settings via the KTMConnect App. Essentially, it opens numerous new customization options and the ability to personalize preferences for a KTM dirtbike without needing external specialized help. But thats not all. An official affiliation with LitPro will empower riders to examine their lines, speed, gearing, and a lot of other information to make their lap times hit the mark, all through the App&#039;s versatility.

Additionally, a new special chassis is a key focus. Varied wall thickness and cutaway sections enhance flexibility while reducing weight. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing adheres to this philosophy, consistently winning races and setting records at the highest level. The chassis strategically repositions rotating mass toward the center of gravity, improving traction out of corners with enhanced anti-squat behavior. Both bikes feature handling adjustments, such as CNC-milled orange anodized, rubber-damped triple clamps made from high-grade aluminum.

Feeling and function are improved even more by other 2024 KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITION specifications. Fully adjustable and tool-free WP Suspension lets you count on 310 mm of travel with the 48 mm WP XACT front fork with AER technology and redesigned protection rings. The WP FACTORY START DEVICE will help with those crucial starts. The shock has new low-friction linkage seals and the 2024 KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITIONs linkage settings have been reworked for optimal weight saving and stiffness. The linkage bolt is smaller and lighter and transferred directly from successful use by the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team.

The 26.1 Kg engine of the 2024 KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION tops the charts, (2024 KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION offers a weight of just 26.8 kg) and is boosted further by a titanium Akrapovic slip-on exhaust that shaves weight and increases power while the unit breathes better with an updated air intake sleeve and snorkel for the Twin Air filter.

Depth is in the details for both machines. New tank spoilers lead to improved cooling and a new fuel tank holder to better frame contact, orange FACTORY frame protectors heighten grip while the 4-screw carbon reinforced FACTORY skid plate and the billet HINSON clutch cover are all parts that will withstand the toughest of hits.

Grey ODI grips look as good as they work and other improvements involve high strength DID wheel sets with orange CMC machined hubs (harder for the bigger, fast jumps), Golden Chain and Dunlop GEOMAX MX34 tires. The MX34 has a new carcass material for better damping and absorption allowing better performance for longer (up to 30% compared to the previous model).

Slide the 2024 KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITIONs to a stop with a stiffer and tougher rear brake pedal that will pull the full power of the Brembo systems into play. Braking force is amplified by the semi-floating 260 mm front brake disc and a carbon reinforced FACTORY brake guard.

The FACTORY ribbed seat, orange rear sprocket and the unforgettable RED BULL KTM FACTORY RACING graphics sets this model apart from the rest. The 2024 KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION comes equipped with a selection of #4 and #7 for riders choosing to support Chase Sexton or Aaron Plessinger next season. As reigning champion for 2024, Sexton will strap the #1 on the bike for AMA Supercross season.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racings new star has already personally signed a unique 2024 KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION after making his first visit to the factory and watching the motorcycles being built on the assembly lines. In honour of Chase joining the conquering race team, one lucky owner will receive the signed #1 2024 KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION.

2024 KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION and KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION specs:

    <title>INTRODUCING THE KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R – THE BEAST, REBORN</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/introducing-the-ktm-1390-super-duke-rthe-beast-reborn</link>
    <description>
        The 2024 KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO have erupted into the Naked segment without warning, sending a clear message to the competition; There is a new BEAST on the prowl.

With 2024 marking 30 YEARS OF DUKE, the all-new KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and its high-tech stablemate, the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO, have evolved into their most fearsome iterations yet.

The numbers tell the story with 1,350 cc, 190 Hp @ 10,000 rpm, and 145 Nm of torque @ 8,000 rpm, ripping into the tarmac with pure ferocity with a new, more aggressive look to match. Impressive figures aside, however, it is its effectiveness at getting power to the ground that makes it even more potent.

For 2024, THE BEAST has undergone a striking aposematic evolution, sending a clear warning message to anyone brave enough to take it on. An all-new LED headlight unit dominates, with new tank spoilers and added winglets making it known that it is not to be messed with. A further reduced subframe cover eliminates the brake light making for an even sharper, pure look and riding experience. With a lower overall profile and more emphasis placed on the compact chassis, the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R looks more muscular and aggressive than ever before. In short, KTM upped the attitude, by lowering the altitude.

A redesigned air intake and airbox see a revised fuel tank with an overall tank capacity of 17.5 liters, which is an increase of 1.5 liters over the predecessor. This not only takes the riding range up to around 300 km but also performs an important ergonomic function. In the hunt for grams, every panel has been calculated for optimum thickness and minimized where possible, with new tank spoilers and added winglets increasing downforce.

However, it is the lightweight, and smart headlight design that makes the biggest visual impact. Weighing in at nearly 700 g less than the previous unit, and boasting an alien-like design, it adds an all-new aggressive glare to the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R. Position and daytime running lights are located on the profile of the headlight, which auto-adjusts in intensity according to ambient light conditions thanks to a light sensor integrated into the dashboard.

Additionally, the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO are fitted with Coming Home light functionality as standard. Here, the headlight will remain on after the ignition has been switched off for greater ambient visibility. This not only illuminates the surroundings but provides a level of safety when parking in dark areas.

This ferocious BEAST required an enlarge heart to keep up with its muscular stance. Boasting an updated version of the LC8, further marking its territory as the alpha. The bore is increased to 110 mm to achieve an engine displacement of 1,350 cc, with an all-new cam shift integrated on the cylinder heads. This provides more power and torque throughout the rpm range and allows for a more differentiated fuel mapping to meet the latest EURO 5+ emission regulations.

Getting that power to the ground comes courtesy of new, lightweight MICHELIN Power GP tires with dual-compound technology, as well as a new WP APEX shock absorber which is fully adjustable, allowing for separate high and low speed adjustments, rebound and toolless pre-load adjustment. Improved DCC settings provide better pressure balance resulting in less compromise between suspension comfort and performance, while new 48 mm WP APEX Open Cartridge fork with split function provide optimized settings.

On the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO, however, the suspension management is taken to an all-new level with the latest generation of WP Semi-Active Technology (SAT). As the most advanced suspension system on the market, it features electronically controlled magnetic valves for variable damping, providing a wide range of adjustability from maximum comfort to track-ready stiffness.

Here, the SCU (Suspension Control Unit) adapts the damping rates via the magnetic valves in real-time, reading the road surface and rider style to automatically adjust the suspension on the fly.

The technology feast doesn&#039;t end there, with both the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO debuting updated PERFORMANCE and TRACK MODES, complete with lap timer and telemetry stats, as well as optional ENGINE BRAKE CONTROL and an updated SUSPENSION PRO module for the KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO.

The KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1390 SUPER DUKE R EVO will also be offered in select 30 YEARS OF DUKE colorways, reminiscent of the orange scheme found on the 2005 KTM 990 SUPER DUKE.

A full range of specially developed KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear are available for riders to personalize their motorcycles and get themselves kitted up in READY TO RACEPerformance.

    <title>STILL THE REFERENCE, STILL THE STANDARD: KTM PRIMES THE NEXT GENERATION OF GROUND-BREAKING KTM SX-FS FOR EARLY DECEMBER 2023</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/still-the-reference-still-the-standardktm-primes-the-next-generation-of-ground-breaking-ktm-sx-fs-for-early-december-2023</link>
    <description>
        Out of the gate, over a triple, past a checkered flag and pristinely placed on a dealership floor: the KTM SX-F motocross line-up is still the best READY TO RACE performance range to catch in the sector. And now for 2024 and dropping early December - the company is braced to offer the next phase of what will be a revolutionary rider experience.
The latest iteration of the KTM SX-F range is a highly advanced technical platform that will form the basis of Red Bull KTM Factory Racings championship ambitions. The potential of the KTM SX-F foundation is beyond doubt, and boasts the DNA of countless wins, podiums, and titles in the upper echelons of motocross and supercross competition through the last decade.

KTM wants to offer even more though. In 2024 the possibilities to harness the connectivity potential of both the bike and the racer is bigger and more exciting than ever. There has never been a better time to strive to be better, and KTM will place even more power and metrics into the hand of the rider.

The KTM SX-Fs have always said a lot about us as a company and our mentality but for 2024 were set to move the needle once again, said Riaan Neveling, Head of KTM Global Marketing. Our credentials on the dirt are as bright as our colors but we are always looking at how we can empower riders and racers even more and thats why several 2024 models are going to cause quite a stir. Success, experience and imagination can produce some really cool concepts and we will push the segment on again with what we have in store.

Keep eyes peeled across social media starting early December 2023. There is only one brand still in the fastest line.

    <title>THE 2024 KTM 990 DUKE HITS THE BULLSEYE WITH SNIPER-LIKE ACCURACY</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/the-2024-ktm-990-duke-hits-the-bullseye-with-sniper-like-accuracy</link>
    <description>
        Heralding a massive leap forward for the KTM Naked range, the all-new KTM 990 DUKE takes aim directly at the coveted 1000 Naked bike segment without making any excuses about why it exists.
With 2024 marking 30 YEARS OF DUKE, the all-new KTM 990 DUKE slots into the line-up like a well-polished round in the chamber. In its quest to be the most performance-focused NAKED machine possible, the KTM 990 DUKE ticks all the right boxes mechanically, while deploying extreme new styling.

The KTM 990 DUKE makes its intentions perfectly clear. Apart from a blisteringly potent engine, an all-new chassis, and swingarm design not to mention updated ergonomics and technology it now sizes up to larger capacity motorcycles in both displacement and proportions.

Side-on, the new design has been modeled around the concept of an explosion in a freeze-frame, harnessing extreme energy ready to be released. This new design is further enhanced by two colorway options in Black and Electric Orange the latter being developed specifically to celebrate 30 YEARS OF DUKE.

At the face of it, predatory design meets reduced styling with an evolved LED headlight being a stand-out feature of the all-new KTM 990 DUKE. Constructed from a carefully chosen mix of materials, the new design ensures lighting stability in all road conditions. Position and daytime running lights are located on the profile of the headlight, which also auto-adjusts in intensity according to ambient light conditions thanks to a light sensor integrated into the dashboard.

Additionally, the KTM 990 DUKE is fitted with a Coming Home light function as standard. Here, the headlight will remain on after the ignition has been switched off, awarding the rider with a few seconds of light to open doors or for better visibility in the garage.

Power is taken care of by a dramatically updated version of the LC8c engine found in the KTM 890 DUKE R. Boasting 947 cc, the roaring heart of the KTM 990 DUKE receives new pistons, crankshaft, and conrod producing a fire-breathing 123 HP and 103 Nm, with a total motorcycle weight of only 179 kg.

The KTM 990 DUKE takes its DNA from the long lineage of hard-hitting DUKE models that have come before it, adding more verve and aggression. It is a performance-oriented machine at its core, designed around a lightweight, flickable chassis that inspires utmost rider confidence.

In typical DUKE fashion, a stiff trellis frame and a new closed-lattice swingarm come together to welcome high-quality adjustable WP APEX Suspension components. These, together with track-proven Bridgestone S22 tires, provide SNIPER-like accuracy when it comes to cornering stability.

The WP APEX Suspension fitted to the KTM 990 DUKE features easy-to-adjust settings, encouraging the rider to push the limits comfortably. Upfront, the 43 mm WP APEX Suspension can be easily and accurately dialed in with 5 clicks on both rebound and compression. On the rear, the WP APEX Monotube shock absorber can be adjusted in 5-clicks, with manual preload adjustment also possible.

Once seated, riders are greeted by a 5-inch, anti-scratch bonded glass dashboard providing all the information a KTM 990 DUKE pilot could need. Revised graphics and menu structures are designed for faster, more intuitive access to the various features of the KTM 990 DUKE. This includes a new function that displays Lean Angle data, with an optional TRACK Mode complete with lap timer and telemetry stats. A USB-C connection is also added for device charging duties.

In short, the brief was simple; Develop the ultimate mid-class NAKED machine. In achieving this, the 2024 KTM 990 DUKE hits the mark dead center.

A full range of specially developed KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear are available for riders to personalize their motorcycles and get themselves kitted up in READY TO RACE performance.

    <title>KTM STEPS UP ITS MINI-CROSS OFFERING WITH THE 2024 KTM SXMINI RANGE</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/ktm-steps-up-its-mini-cross-offering-with-the-2024-ktm-sxmini-range</link>
    <description>
        Now even more closely related to the full-sized KTM Motocross machines, the 2024 range of KTM Sportminicycles is poised to continue their championship-winning assault on the competition.
Following on from the successes of the KTM SX range, the 2024 KTM SX Minis hit the track with a completely fresh approach in the development of READY TO RACE motocross machines aimed at grassroots racing.

Using scientific, statistical data, the 2024 KTM 50 SX has been developed to be as close to a scaled-down version of a full-size KTM SX machine as possible, with careful consideration given to young riders and body proportions compared to grown-ups. This has been considered in the design and development phases of the 2024 KTM 50 SX as well as all of its components.

Likewise, for the first time, the development of the 2024 KTM 65 SX was done in close cooperation with a number of international test riders, who have been successfully racing and testing the different development stages over the last two years. This has resulted in a brace of mini-crossers that not only look like miniature READY TO RACE motocross machines but also share a superior level of quality and attention to detail.

With top-level handling and performance being a critical and essential part of mini-cross, both the 2024 KTM 50 SX and 2024 KTM 65 SX are built around a new, advanced steel frame with a lightweight polyamide glass fiber reinforced steel 2-piece subframe.

This has allowed for a revolutionary change to mini-cross, in that the new frame allows for multi-adjustability to cater to different rider heights. Suspension, handlebar position, bodywork, and subframe are now height adjustable to match the growing needs of young riders. Seat height is adjustable between 634 mm to 683 mm for the 2024 KTM 50 SX and 730 mm to 760 mm for the 2024 KTM 65 SX.

Regarding suspension updates, both mini-crossers feature the latest in suspension technology, with a 35 mm USD WP XACT AER fork taking charge at the front. On the rear, an all-new fully adjustable WP XACT monoshock is fitted for perfect balance and damping characteristics, with both models benefiting from revised fitment and geometry.

For model year 2024, the KTM 50 SX FACTORY EDITION will also find its way onto the racetrack, boasting a brace of top-shelf high-performance components over and above the standard 2024 KTM 50 SX spec sheet.

Staying true to its name, the 2024 KTM 50 SX FACTORY EDITION is wrapped in a Red Bull KTM Factory Racing inspired graphics kit, with an orange, high grip diamante KTM FACTORY SEAT. Performance is also upped, thanks to a full FMF exhaust system and Iridium BRISK FE-specific spark plug, making it the ideal choice for young up-and-coming champions.

The 2024 KTM Sportminicycle range is the perfect representation of KTMs dedication to mini-cross, with the same amount of energy and attention to detail by the same passionate team in Austria who are also in charge of the race-proven full-size models.

    <title>KTM BRIDGES THE CIRCUIT GAP WITH THE ALL-ELECTRIC KTM SX-E 2</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/ktm-bridges-the-circuit-gap-with-the-all-electric-ktm-sx-e-2</link>
    <description>
        Designed to be a true grassroots entry into the motorcycle world, the KTM SX-E 2 provides the ideal platform for young riders to find their feet and throttles anywhere the terrain allows.
Following the successes of both the KTM SX-E 5 and KTM SX-E 3, the all-new KTM SX-E 2 rolls up to the starting line as a real-world intermediary package, bridging the gap between mini-cycle and motorcycle, complete with modern, striking graphics, top-quality materials, and high-end components.

The KTM SX-E 2 is designed and built around a center tube Aluminum Extrusion Frame concept that reduces the number of components needed. With fewer connections and mounting points, the chassis provides maximum durability and rigidity, striding the line perfectly between balance, strength and safety. At the rear, the subframe is made from a high-quality glass-fiber reinforced, impact-resistant plastic composite for low weight and added shock absorption.

Providing the forward drive for the KTM SX-E 2 is a lightweight, maintenance-free 1.8 kW HUB Motor powered by a water-resistant BLi300 Lithium-ion power-tool-type battery, delivering a maximum of 50 Nm. Being devoid of any additional parts like chains or sprockets, this HUB-Motor-Concept keeps weight low and provides added safety in the event of a crash.

However, the real perk comes with the ease of swapping the battery with one easy movement, extending ride time with multiple batteries, and easy battery replacement in case of damage. This also acts as an anti-ride device, with the battery simply removed.

Charging is taken care of by an external charger supplying up to 500 W that can be connected to any 110- or 230-volt socket, taking approximately 60 minutes to achieve a full 100% charge.

Upfront, a non-adjustable WP Hydraulic Fork with 90 mm travel takes care of the bumps, while a preload adjustable 34 mm hydraulic monoshock takes care of matters at the rear. The monoshock is mounted directly to the swingarm, offering 70 mm of travel, and is perfectly matched to the front forks in terms of exceptional balance and damping characteristics.

Young riders find their feet easily thanks to a 2-level adjustable seat height. In standard configuration, the seat height is 470 mm but can easily be increased to 500 mm by lifting the bodywork and seat unit and mounting the rear shock in an alternative position. This, along with the ability to lower the front fork in the triple clamp and adjust the heights of the foot-peg carrier, means the rider can grow with the KTM SX-E 2.

In keeping with its smaller dimensions, the KTM SX-E 2 is fitted with lightweight 10&quot; black powder-coated aluminum HPDC wheels front and rear, wrapped in KENDA tires, supported by a set of radial, hydraulic 140 mm disk brakes on the front and rear, with the brake pads being compatible with high-end market bicycle brake pads for easy availability. The hand levers are adjustable to fit smaller hand sizes.

From a safety and usability standpoint, the KTM SX E-2 is fitted with a roll-over sensor that cuts power in the event of a crash or tip-over. A wrist lanyard key also provides a direct connection between the riders and the kill switch, which stops the motor in the event of an uncontrollable riding scenario.

As an added safety feature, the electric motor is activated by rolling the throttle forward. Once turned on, a haptic &#039;vibration&#039; is sent through the grip mimicking the subtle idling vibration of a combustion engine, indicating to the rider that the bike is ready to go. This stops any unwanted or sudden acceleration when mounting the KTM SX-E 2. An illuminated multifunctional display located next to the throttle also makes keeping an eye on selected ride modes and battery life simple, with different colors indicating which ride mode is selected, as well as what level the battery is at.

The KTM SX-E 2 once again showcases KTMs commitment to the next generation of champions, particularly aspirant riders starting at the absolute grassroots level, merging big bike feel with all-electric starter packages.

    <title>KTM BRABUS 1300 R MASTERPIECE EDITION</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/ktm-brabus-1300-r-masterpiece-edition</link>
    <description>
        Limited edition of two times 25 naked bikes sporting exclusive BRABUS design in the two colors Onyx Black and Diamond White.

The first BRABUS motorcycle was presented in February 2022. It came in two colors and was limited to 77 bikes of each. All 154 BRABUS 1300 R naked bikes were sold in less than two minutes. The second edition, the Edition 23 comprised two times 145 motorcycles or 290 bikes in all and sold out similarly quickly. The platform in both cases was provided by the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO. The BRABUS series production is now coming to an end. The exclusive BRABUS 1300 R MASTERPIECE EDITION is available as a farewell to this fascinating hyper naked bike: a series of two times 25 elaborately refined motorcycles in the colors Onyx Black and Diamond White, which are given even more extravagant looks with select elements finished in the color Frozen Gold, and an even further expanded carbon package.

The bikes are powered by a V-twin engine rated at 132 kW / 180 hp and reach a top speed of 270 km/h. However, they particularly impress with their spectacular BRABUS Signature design. The thrilling front with its round LED headlight is unmistakable. The headlight is framed by a BRABUS exposed-carbon visor and combines classic motorcycle design with modern features such as the side fairings with integrated winglets inspired by motorsport. Like various parts of the front fender, they also are produced from this hi-tech composite material. In addition to the winglets, there are other carefully placed golden elements. They include the striking BRABUS Monoblock Z hi-tech forged wheels featuring polished sections, the decorative rings around the two mufflers of the BRABUS sports exhaust system, the 1 OF 25 Sign of Excellence badge on the tank as well as the BRABUS MASTERPIECE badge on the seat pad, which all mark these limited-edition motorcycles.

The philosophy of refining a high-end bike such as the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO and giving it a very special profile in the hallmark BRABUS design idiom by means of high-quality exposed-carbon components struck a chord with motorcycle connoisseurs from all over the world. After two sold-out limited editions, at the end of production of this hyper naked bike there is now one last chance to score one of the worlds most extraordinary machines, which has the potential to become a sought-after collectors item.

The exclusive BRABUS 1300 R MASTERPIECE EDITION comes in two variants in the colors Onyx Black and Diamond White with 25 bikes of each being built. Compared with the previous limited editions, they feature an even more extensive carbon package. It includes covers for the single-sided swingarm and the triangular frame sections under the tank and seat, as well as a cover for the top of the alternator enclosure.

This exclusive hyper naked bike from the BRABUS Manufaktur is immediately identifiable by its unique design featuring a front visor with large, round LED headlight and distinctive side fairings with integrated winglets as found on a MotoGP machine. These visual elements are produced from exposed carbon just like parts of the front fender and various cover plates on the engine. When the bike is started, the TFT display of the 1300 R shows an animation specifically programmed for this BRABUS limited edition.

        Both versions of the new BRABUS bike feature a matte black trellis frame and the powerful KTM LC8 V-twin engine with a displacement of 1.3 liters, which gives the BRABUS 1300 R special model its name. This engine produces a maximum output of 132 kW / 180 hp at 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 140 Nm at 8,000 rpm. It catapults the MASTERPIECE EDITION from rest to 100 km/h in a mere 3.2 seconds and propels the bike to a top speed of 270 km/h.

The WP semi-active suspension ensures decidedly sporty and safe handling. In AUTO mode it independently adapts to the road conditions and the driving style. At the touch of a button, the rider can also manually choose between different setups ranging from emphatically comfortable to a firm ride suitable for laps on the racetrack. There are also various available modes for the engine electronics that modify the power delivery in five stages from smooth on wet roads to maximum power output for racing circuits.

The sporty focus of this special model is reflected in a tailor-made tire/wheel combination as well. The 17-inch BRABUS Monoblock Z GOLD PLATINUM wheels were developed specifically for these bikes and are manufactured using state-of-the-art forging and CNC technologies. Matching their name, for the MASTERPIECE EDITION they sport a golden finish. Diamond-polished sections give the nine-spoke design an even more exclusive look. The wheels carry performance tires of sizes 120/70 R 17 at the front and 200/55 R 17 at the rear. They offer outstanding grip for sporty cornering.

The exclusive color scheme of the wheels is also found in other details of the BRABUS 1300 R MASTERPIECE EDITION. They include Frozen Gold highlight features such as the BRABUS MASTERPIECE badges, the winglets in the BRABUS side fairings on the left and right of the tank, Signature Stripes on the front and rear, as well as the rings around the two mufflers of the BRABUS slip-on sports exhaust system. The name of this special model is laser-etched on the two sleek rear mufflers. The BRABUS exhaust naturally impresses not only with its sophisticated looks, but also with an even more aggressive exhaust note of the two-cylinder engine.

Its design furthermore is a seamless fit with the extravagant looks created in the BRABUS design studio. Depending on the selected variant, the tank, the tail cowl and parts of the front fender come in Onyx Black or Diamond White. The BRABUS upholstery shop covers the custom single seat with fine black leather and applies an exceedingly accurate Diamond Rising quilting pattern for both color variants. The padding for the tail cowl with golden BRABUS MASTERPIECE badge keeps the rider securely on the seat even under full acceleration. The individually adjustable foot pegs and the adjustable clutch and brake levers enable the rider to find the perfect seating position on the BRABUS 1300 R MASTERPIECE EDITION.

This makes the exclusive motorcycle from the latest cooperation between KTM and BRABUS the perfect choice for motorcycle enthusiasts with a penchant for spirited riding who wish for a sporty naked bike with outstanding driving dynamics and extravagant design. Available now in Onyx Black or Diamond White in a limited edition of 25 bikes each.

Each motorcycle of the MASTERPIECE EDITION is delivered with exclusive accessories. They include a tailor-made indoor cover as well as a floor mat in BRABUS 1300 R design for the parking space in the garage at home. Of course, both feature golden BRABUS MASTERPIECE emblems. The keys for each bike come in an exclusive carbon box that sports the logo of this limited edition. In addition, each of the fifty owners of this motorcycle will get the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive guided tour of the BRABUS Manufaktur in Bottrop.

    <title>KTM&#039;S NO BULLSHIT CAMPAIGN ROARS TO LIFE WITH THE BRAND NEW 2024 SINGLE-CYLINDER KTM DUKE LINE-UP</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/ktms-no-bullshit-campaign-roars-to-life-with-the-brand-new-2024-single-cylinder-ktm-duke-line-up</link>
    <description>
        KTM charges into model year 2024 with a brace of all-new single-cylinder DUKE models, bringing more punching power, improved handling, and clear differentiation of attitude between the displacements. In short, the all-new DUKE range cuts the bullshit, bringing more bike for your buck.

Adopting an all-out, no-compromise attitude, the all-new 2024 models represent the biggest change to the sub-500 cc capacity DUKE model range since the KTM 125 DUKE in 2011. The result is a complete redesign with new engines, an all-new chassis concept, and new styling which amplifies the typically aggressive KTM DUKE design language youve come to expect.

For 2024, a new two-piece frame design composed of an all-new steel trellis main frame with a pressure die-cast aluminum subframe enhances dynamics by augmenting torsional rigidity. This also adds improved agility and enhanced feedback from the chassis, with new triple clamps with a revised offset to improve handling characteristics and give riders greater control and stability.

The frame is now mated to an all-new curved lightweight swingarm, which contours around a relocated rear shock absorber. This is mounted off-centre to allow for a larger airbox design and reduction in overall seat height: 820mm on the 390 DUKE and 800mm on the 125 DUKE. This reduced seat height was purposefully engineered into the new DUKE design to allow for greater accessibility, without compromising on stability or handling.

Delivering the knockout punch is an entirely new generation of lightweight, compact single-cylinder engines. Dubbed the LC4c, the engine range is made up of a 125 cc engine and a larger 399 cc engine, as found in the KTM 390 DUKE. Building from experience gained with the previous generation, these powerplants are completely redesigned, with newly optimised cylinder heads and gearboxes, as well as meeting EURO 5.2 compatibility standards.

The 2024 KTM DUKE range also sets the benchmark for real-world technological advancement in the small displacement NAKED segment. All models in the line-up feature the latest version of selectable Supermoto ABS, 5 dashboards and smartphone connectivity as standard, with the ability to fit an optional Quickshifter+.

Bringing more DUKENESS to each division apart from a new metal fuel tank and high-quality surface finishes the 2024 DUKE stablemates have embraced their own identities with visual differences across the range.

        2024 KTM 390 DUKE

Visually, the 2024 KTM 390 DUKE rightfully takes ownership as the leader of the pack with key differences from the rest of the single-cylinder DUKE line-up. Signature Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue colour options dominate the visual impact, with longer tank spoilers that feature prominent air intakes, larger radiator covers and external LED positioning lights completing the package.

Power is taken care of by an all-new lightweight 399 cc single-cylinder LC4c engine. Not only is it lighter and more powerful than the previous generation, but it also brings EURO 5+ compatibility and refreshed attitude to the KTM 390 DUKE. THE CORNER ROCKET is the perfect street weapon for A2 licence holders.

The 2024 KTM 390 DUKE boasts a 43 mm WP APEX Open Cartridge front fork with 5-click adjustment on rebound and compression and a split piston rear shock absorber with adjustable rebound and preload. This means handling can be tailored to perfectly match each riders needs.

Once poised in the new redesigned seat, riders are greeted by an all-new 5 TFT display with selectable ride modes. Riders can choose between STREET and RAIN modes, the latter of which aids riders in adverse weather conditions by supplying a less aggressive throttle response and Cornering MTC, which comes as standard.

TRACK screen is available on the KTM 390 DUKE for the first time. This standard feature unlocks a world of hooliganism through an enlarged rpm display and activates launch control and lap timer for the perfect grid start. Unnecessary information gets reduced to the bare minimum, allowing the rider to focus on crossing the finish line.

        2024 KTM 125 DUKE

While it might sit at the entry level of the KTM Naked range, the KTM 125 DUKE dominates the small capacity engine segment. A powerful 125 cc engine, exceptional electronics and WP APEX suspension lift the 2024 KTM 125 DUKE to new heights.

Visually, the 2024 KTM 125 DUKE sets itself apart from the rest of the small DUKE range, with all-new Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue colour options, painted headlight surround housing an ultra-bright LED headlight, and compact tank spoilers.

Electronically, the 2024 KTM 125 DUKE shares its 5 TFT display with the KTM 390 DUKE, with the TRACK screen and Cornering ABS as standard. A refined ride-by-wire system and Automatic Turn Indicator Reset complete the package.

The 2024 KTM 125 DUKE also features a 43 mm WP APEX Open Cartridge non-adjustable front fork with 150 mm travel and a WP APEX separate piston shock absorber with tool-adjustable preload.

        Enhancing the new 2024 generation KTM DUKE line-up even further, a comprehensive selection of KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear is specifically designed to fit the new DUKE range and its riders, providing performance, style, protection and comfort.

2024 KTM DUKE models will be available at Premier Bikesfrom January 2024 onwards. Prices to be announced.

    <title>RALLY RAID SUPERSTAR XAVIER DE SOULTRAIT TO TAKE ON THE 2023 ERZBERGRODEO PROLOGUE ABOARD KTM 890 ADVENTURE R</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/rally-raid-superstar-xavier-de-soultrait-to-take-on-the-2023-erzbergrodeo-prologue-aboard-ktm-890-adventure-r</link>
    <description>
        Rally racer Xavier De Soultrait looks to summit the Iron Giant in the IRON ROAD PROLOGUE, hunting for gold aboard the latest version of KTMs unstoppable middle-weight KTM 890 ADVENTURE R.
The IRON ROAD PROLOGUE might not be the main event at the ERZBERGRODEO but it certainly doesn&#039;t disappoint, drawing massive crowds year after year. It is a 13.5 km rollercoaster ride complete with tight hairpin turns, climbing to 1,466 m above sea level. Even the most hardened ERZBERG riders will tell you it&#039;s no easy ride.

Xavier, who is no stranger to hitting the limiter in top gear offroad, after coming in first overall at the TRANSANATOLIA RALLY on a KTM 690 ENDURO R, will be stepping up in the twin-cylinder category from 8th - 11th June 2023 at the IRON ROAD PROLOGUE.

Im excited to take on this challenge. The KTM 890 ADVENTURE R is pretty much straight off the dealership floor, with the addition of some suspension upgrades and protective parts. Both the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R and I are up to the task. We will have to focus on our lines, hold on and keep it wide open.

In terms of the machine itself, the 2023 KTM 890 ADVENTURE R engine is completely stock, the only modifications to being KTM PowerParts and WP PRO COMPONENTS - the XPLOR PRO 7548 front fork and the XPLOR PRO 6746 rear shock. The IRON ROAD rules are simple; Riders start in 20-second intervals, with each competitor having two timed runs up the mountain, with the top 500 fastest riders qualifying for the RED BULL ERZBERGRODEO on Sunday.

While Xavier wont be competing in the main event, he will need to summon up all his courage and racing skills to keep razor-sharp focus to dominate the rest of the field and take his place on the top step of the podium, with a potential record-breaking time.

This will be a great test bed for the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R and good preparations for some of our upcoming challenges and events later this year. Its not going to be easy, says Xavier. But we are also going to try to have as much fun as we can. In the end, it&#039;s still a race and we must try our best to get to the top in the fastest time, but first, we have fun with it. I will have a better idea of how much I can push the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R after the first run and see how much grip were working with on the mountain. Its going to be a blast and I cannot wait!&quot;

The 2023 Erzbergrodeo runs from 8th - 11th June in Austria, with Xavier racing under the KTM FARIOLI tent for any fans wanting to see his KTM 890 ADVENTURE R in the metal and to meet the man who will tame it.

    <title>CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! THE 2024 KTM EXC RANGE IS HERE TO RE-DEFINE LIMITS</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/challenge-acceptedthe-2024-ktm-exc-range-is-here-to-re-define-limits</link>
    <description>
        Sporting 95% new components, the 2024 KTM EXC range is moving the goalposts further than ever before. Featuring an all-new frame, revolutionary closed-cartridge suspension, refined bodywork, LED headlight, and industry-defining technology, the latest generation of KTM Enduro machines are ready to accept any challenge.

With over three decades of racing experience and more than 126 World Enduro titles in the trophy cabinet, KTM has remained the weapon of choice when it comes to taking on the worlds toughest races. For the 2024 model year, the KTM EXC nameplate continues to raise the bar in the areas of performance, development and innovation with its most radical transformation to date.

An all-new hydro-formed, laser-cut and robot-welded frame forms the backbone of the 2024 KTM Enduro
range. This brings new longitudinal and torsional flex parameters for unmatched rider feedback, energy absorption, and straight-line stability to the riding experience but also provides the foundation on which the 2024 model range is built.

Upfront, the KTM EXC and EXC-F range now boast an all-new 48 mm WP XACT Closed Cartridge spring fork, featuring a new mid-valve piston concept that optimises oil flow within the cartridge.

The KTM Enduro models continue to feature the proven PDS shock system, updated for 2024 in the form of a new WP XPLOR PDS rear shock, optimised to work fluidly with the new frame concept.

As an industry first, the suspension at both ends remains fully adjustable for compression and damping by way of hand clickers, without the need for any tools, allowing easy preload adjustability on the rear.

An all-new lightweight 2-piece subframe constructed from a combination of polyamide and reinforced aluminum delivers outstanding handling and rider feedback, as well as remarkable robustness. All electronic components, including an all-new Offroad Control Unit, are fully integrated into the subframe for easy access and improved protection.

More notably, the 2024 KTM EXC range benefits from new bodywork all around. This has been developed with input from the Red Bull KTM Factory Riders to deliver an improved rider triangle for better knee contact, especially when standing on the pegs.

A new front fender design now also features mud-repelling fins for expelling dirt and mud from hitting the rider or radiators, while a new 8.3 litre 4-stroke and 8.9 liter 2-stroke transparent, polythene (XPE) fuel tanks provide easy fuel level monitoring and complete the bodywork package.

Monitoring the electronics comes courtesy of a totally independent OCU under the seat, which replaces the use of electronic fuses and relays. In the event of any electrical component failure, the outputs are deactivated individually, with the error status of each unit indicated by a red or green LED light. This makes for quick and easy troubleshooting while out on the trail.

In terms of engines, the 2-stroke model range once again takes its place as the leader of the oil-burner paddock, debuting new electronic Throttle Body Injection technology, or TBI for short. It provides levels of ultra-smooth power deivery, reminiscent of carburettor performance, while eliminating the need for re-jetting at different altitudes.

The reed valve case has also received an important design update, with new plastic flaps on the outside of the reed valve case for improved sealing of the intake tract. This new design avoids fuel excess in extreme up or downhill sections, which could lead to the fuelling running rich.

A beneficial side effect of the new electronic fuel injection and the ECU is implementing the new electronic exhaust control, allowing for two different engine maps, selectable via an optional Map Select switch.

The 2024 KTM EXC 2-stroke range will once again consist of the following model line-up:

KTM 150 EXC - 8,949.00

KTM 250 EXC - 9,949.00

KTM 300 EXC - 10,149.00

The 4-stroke model range provides the most concise offering of models. All models in the 4-stroke range benefit from class-winning engines, engineered to deliver massive torque down low with an explosive power delivery at higher RPMs.

An improved centre of gravity was achieved by tilting the engine 2 backward and repositioning the front sprocket 3 mm lower, for greatly improved handling and maneuverability. Together with the benefits of mass centralisation and reduced weight, the anti-squat behavior of the chassis was significantly improved, making for improved traction on extreme inclines and powering out of corners in special enduro stages.

The 2024 KTM EXC-F also debuts the optional addition of Traction Control and for the first time ever on an enduro machine a Quickshifter function. The latter makes for clutchless upshifts from 2nd to 6th gear, allowing riders to keep the throttle pinned open while changing through the gears for improved control. These features can be switched on or off via an optional and newly designed Map Select Switch.

The 2024 KTM EXC-F 4-stroke range consists of the following models:

KTM 250 EXC-F - 10,449.00

KTM 350 EXC-F - 10,649.00

KTM 450 EXC-F - 10,949.00

KTM 500 EXC-F - 11,149.00

The 2024 KTM EXC range is the culmination of many years at the top end of Enduro competition, bringing together a dynamic combination of race-bred performance, ergonomics and technology, to challenge any terrain and redefine the limit.

As always, and thanks to KTMs global networks of dealers, the availability of support and parts needed to compete at the highest level is easily accessible, with the added availability of dedicated KTM PowerWear and KTM PowerParts, both of which have been designed to further increase the highest levels of performance, protection and mobility for all offroad riders and racers.

    <title>STILL UNBEATABLE, STILL UNDENIABLE: RULE THE TRACK WITH THE 2024 KTM 450 SMR</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/still-unbeatable-still-undeniablerule-the-track-with-the-2024-ktm-450-smr</link>
    <description>
        The KTM 450 SMR is the bar of reference for Supermoto. It is the only choice for riders seeking an escape from the limits of the road, for dirt bikers that want to feel an exhilarating drift on the tarmac, for those that want the ideal training tool or Supermoto racers craving to lead the pack.
Austrias own Lukas Hllbacher took his KTM 450 SMR to the 2022 AMA Supermoto title and fought until the last moments for the FIM World Championship. Hllbachers track feats and feedback rolled into the serial production version of KTMs latest and best definition of the ultimate Supermoto racer. In 2023 he will again be on the attack with the 2024 KTM 450 SMR and riders can now get their hands on the same model. The 2024 incarnation has been given a fresh new splash of color using in-mold technology for the bodywork. KTM orange, white and black create an attractive blur at speed but there is also the distinctive streak of purple, inspired by 1990 KTM bikes barreling around international racetracks.

Elsewhere, here is what makes the SMR package so competitive

Surge forwards with the 450 cc SOHC engine that fires out 63 hp, now with longer service intervals. At less than 27 kg, the powerplant is a masterpiece of power-to-weight engineering. A 44 mm Keihin throttle body brings in the fun and gauges the right response, while the SUTER slipper clutch adds another important way to modulate lap-time speed.

Ultimate handling thanks to centralisation of the motor and chassis within the hydro-formed, laser-cut and robot-welded frame. The compact construction has just the right amount of longitudinal rigidity and flex to provide superb feedback, energy absorption and straight-line stability. The reinforced aluminum subframe weighs in at 1.815 kg and was generated from computational dynamic studies: sensitivity, robustness and reliability were the parameters. The hollow, die-cast aluminum swingarm is another remarkable contributor to the 2024 KTM 450 SMRs experience along with a NEKEN aluminum handlebar and CNC machined triple clamps, which are rubber damped to reduce vibration, to put every single corner of the racetrack right into the riders hands.

Pivot on a dime with dependable suspension - 48 mm WP XACT split front fork with AER technology for progressive and consistent damping, especially in the last 40 mm of travel. Count on quick access click adjusters for compression and rebound. The WP XACT shock is small, light, and fixed with the frame geometry for better ground clearance of the linkage system. The XACT unit is one of the most advanced pieces of hardware to emerge from the WP Suspension factory lines. Like the fork, the shocks compression and rebound can be configured without the need for tools.

Easy life for the racer thanks to specialist features such as the electric start, the tool-less air filter for simple replacement, a performance-designed airbox, a flat and high seat with a high-grip cover, to accommodate ultimate control at any angle, and a large polythene 7.2 litre fuel tank, meaning more miles at speed. Carefully engineered footpegs with a larger surface area and revised integration into the frame; they are optimised for tarmac and the varying conditions of the terrain.

Run to the limit of the corners with heavy-duty Brembo brakes. The 4-piston radial caliper will clamp the 310 mm front disc at the smallest stroke of the lever while a single piston unit grabs the 220 mm rear disc to set off those time-saving drifts.

Maneuver the 2024 KTM 450 SMR how you want thanks to the acute triangle ergonomics that focus on centralisation, putting the rider in the ideal attack position. Front end control and rear end confidence is the default &#039;setting&#039; for the 2024 KTM 450 SMR, thanks to the various contact points from the carefully designed bodywork.

Own the track with a raft of special race-orientated details such as two selectable engine maps, launch control, traction control and Quickshifter, all administered by a 44 mm Keihin engine management system. LED hour meters, Fuel Injection status and a Roll Over Sensor (ROS) are included. The ROS detects the position of the bike in the event of a crash and automatically kills the engine for improved safety.

Tyre tech that wont let you down. Metzeler Racetec SM K1 Supermoto rubber heats up quickly and boasts a large performance scale in terms of temperature range and different states of asphalt. The tyres are fitted to lightweight, high-strength ALPINA alloy rims with CNC machined hubs.

Open your mind. The 2024 KTM 450 SMR invites riders to eat the chrono and question their own capabilities. READY TO RACE has rarely been more acutely applied to any KTM model. This year there wont be any excuses.

2024 KTM 450 SMR Technical Highlights:

Purposeful orange, black, white and purple race trim livery with black coated frame and menacing black wheels

63 hp SOHC engine weighing less than 27 kg and prioritising centralisation thanks to altered positioning in the frame. Engine position equates to easy servicing

Two engine map options, launch control, traction control and Quickshifter as well as SUTER slipper clutch for maximum control

    <title>KING OF THE COMEBACKS: HAIL THE NEW KTM 890 SMT</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/king-of-the-comebackshail-the-new-ktm-890-smt</link>
    <description>
        Sharper, sleeker, sportier. Take a touch of touring, a pinch of unbeatable tarmac performance and spice with a large portion of Supermoto legacy and serve with speed: KTM is delighted to reintroduce the KTM SMT back into the fold. No compromises and no catches. This regeneration of a KTM icon will sweep all highway traffic aside.

Imagine the ultimate Supermoto play weapon, combined with a bike that boasts a number of technical features, necessary for extended touring capabilities: you can attack the apex while knowing full well that the bike will take you much further.

Essential information:
KTM 890 SMT back in the spotlight with re-tuned KTM 890 LC8c platform, developed to hit marks at the top of the Supermoto touring segment for power/torque-to-weight ratio.
A street focused chassis, adjustable suspension, and premium tyres and brakes elevate this purposeful model between KTM ADVENTURE and KTM STREET product ranges. The perfect foil for both hill passes and the roads that lie thereafter, in equal measure.
The 2023 KTM 890 SMT is relaunched with fanfare and a pulsating hill climb concept in the hands of former AMA Superbike and Supermoto racer Chris Fillmore.
The only way is up. The racing skills of former AMA Superbike and Supermoto ace Chris Fillmore were an apt conduit to display the potential of the reimagined KTM 890 SMT. The American, and Pikes Peak winner, throttled the Supermoto-tourer along a Sardinian mountain climb to show petrol heads and the motorcycle industry what they had been missing and what they had been waiting for.

Fillmore gassed the super-torquey 889cc LC8c parallel twin and counted on 105 hp at 8,000 rpm. The engine is the same platform behind the enviable stats and output of the KTM 890 ADVENTURE model and its variations: with a 20% increase in rotating mass over the KTM 790 platform, providing stability and reassurance through corners, the knock control and 46 mm dual DellOrto throttle bodies guaranteeing optimum momentum, while the fuel consumption from the 15.8 litre tank is fantastically low at 4.6 litres/100 km. The KTM 890 SMT is just as happy pushed through low revs as it is pinned in higher gears - in fact Fillmore used the full range of the KTM 790 DUKEs motor to ace his second Pikes Peak hill climb record in Colorado back in 2018.

The tank itself plays a forceful role in the ergonomics and has been slimmed and designed specifically for the KTM 890 SMT. The form of the tank slides the rider even further into the bike with a wide and comfy contact patch, but is still compact enough for free and flowing movement (aided by the single piece Supermoto shaped seat at 860 mm height). The aero-optimised, smoked windshield is placed just above the double fender concept, with a low splash guard on the fork legs. Cruise or attack? You decide.

Chassis-wise the KTM 890 SMT has a CroMo steel frame with a tighter geometry that apes the KTM ADVENTURE&#039;s stats. The structure is typically light and superbly agile on the move but also ensures fierce stability the faster a rider pushes. The shock absorber is angled further to reduce the seat height and accommodate the longer swingarm, contributing to both a forwardly inclined rider position as well as straight line stability.

Feeling the KTM 890 SMT on the go is an excellent experience: agile and responsive. The WP APEX suspension (43 mm open cartridge upside-down forks with 180 mm of travel, the same as the rear shock) is fully adjustable and complements the 17 wheels. The Michelin PowerGP tyres supply more than enough stick for the slickest tarmac and have been especially selected for their specs and appropriateness for the KTM 890 SMTs demands. The state of the art 5 TFT dashboard is made from optically bonded mineral glass and is scratch and glare resistant, and fully customisable while divulging the easy-to-use infographic menu system for setup preferences.

The bike can be moulded even further. The three standard ride modes (RAIN, STREET, SPORT) can be expanded with an optional TRACK setting, permitting the rider to toggle between different amounts of throttle response and traction control through 10 levels. Cornering Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC) is an important safety feature, sensitive to the bike&#039;s pitch and behavior at lean. Try six different handlebar positions with a 30 mm range. The show can slide and be rapidly wrenched to a halt with its potent brakes, consisting of four piston calipers, putting pressure on a 320 mm disc up front, while double piston calipers grip the 260 mm rear. Putting this stopping power into action employs Cornering ABS and Supermoto ABS - placing both technically advanced provisions into the mix for an excellent safety profile.

More add-ons available include heated grips and the chance to add Motor Slip Regulation (MSR), ideal for better control in low grip situations and for fast downshifts, to the software package. QUICKSHIFTER+ and Cruise Control are optional and ready to go with a simple activation process at Authorised KTM Dealers. Connectivity with the bike means full access to navigation possibilities and the advantages of the KTMconnect App, including roadside assistance, owner manuals and a digital service booklet for service and maintenance.

It would be very modest of us not to mention the looks. The KTM 890 SMT says a lot with its Supermoto-tourer style, from the 17&quot; wheels to its sporty graphics. The SMT cuts a sharp profile and will be impossible to miss, and even harder to outgun, on the road. As ever, dont forget the encompassing collection of KTM PowerParts (to include accessories, TRACK and TECH Packs) and KTM PowerWear to look the part whether you&#039;re on the hill, the highway or any other route to KTM 890 SMT happiness.

2023 KTM 890 SMT Highlights

KTM 890 LC8c reworked for special sport touring emphasis and the next generation of the KTM 890 SMT thanks to 100 Nm of Torque and 105 hp with unbeatable power delivery

A chassis ideal for the perfect Supermoto-tourer that achieves the desirable pitch between aggression and relaxed long distance cruising, with a sportier feel

Frame, engine, wheels, WP APEX suspension all tweaked for lithe performance

Blast the gradient of any hill climb with Cornering MTC, Cornering ABS and Supermoto ABS all applicable thanks to premium bike behavior functionality. More customisation possible with adjustable Suspension and TRACK mode options

Performance with function: get excited by the tech specs and then revel in the touring aspect of the bike, with elements such as the 5 advanced TFT dashboard, Michelin PowerGP tyres, optional QUICKSHIFTER+ and Cruise Control - among other add-ons

LED lights, eye-catching styling, 17 wheels and KTM 890 SMT spirit from the first throttle roll

KTM 890 SMT UK pricing confirmed as 12,499.00 on the road - available to order now and landing at Premier Bikes from May 2023.

    <title>THE DOMINATION CONTINUES WITH THE 2024 KTM MOTOCROSS RANGE</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/the-domination-continues-with-the-2024-ktm-motocross-range</link>
    <description>
        Following the introduction of the completely renewed 2023 KTM SX range, the 2024 KTM motocross range lines up at the gate with reworked suspension settings and a fresh new look.

Sleeker, slimmer and engineered to provide riders with unmatched levels of control, the 2023 KTM SX range of motocross superiority shot onto the podium as the most innovative and highest-performing READY TO RACE production motocross machines ever built.

As a recap, the 2023 KTM SX range debuted a completely redesigned chassis built around a hydro-formed, laser-cut and robot-welded frame, a 2-piece polyamide reinforced aluminum subframe, and a hollow, die-cast aluminum swingarm.

Designed and constructed with specifically calculated parameters of longitudinal and torsional flex, the frame provides exceptional rider feedback, energy absorption and straight-line stability at speed.

For 2024, the KTM SX and SX-F range retains these advancements, with the addition of renewed suspension settings focused on improving bike balance and comfort. These improvements are also significantly noticeable when it comes to cornering agility.

At the rear, a WP XACT shock provides advanced damping characteristics for unsurpassed traction and energy absorption, while up front, the 48 mm WP XACT front fork provides improved bottoming-out resistance and damping, and allows the fork to stay lower and more planted on initial acceleration after a hard landing.

Ergonomically, the 2024 KTM SX and SX-F range retains a best-in-class rider triangle, resulting in exceptional knee contact, especially when standing on the pegs. This, along with added contact surfaces on the bodywork, and a flat seat profile, improves overall handling, agilit, and confidence.

Above the surface, an all-new graphics set takes centre stage which, like the previous year, takes inspiration from the early 1990s. The designers of the 2024 CTG used purple as a highlight colour as a nod to when purple was a prominent hue in the KTM signature styling. However, orange and white tones still dominate the overall look and are applied using time-proven in-mold technology.

Armed with the 2022 MX2 Championship trophy, more forgiving suspension, unmatched performance and cutting-edge technology are within easy reach for riders of all ages and riding abilities, the 2024 KTM SX and SX-F range continues its assault on motocross competition.

    <title>2023 KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR - LIMITED NUMBERS, UNLIMITED FURY</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/2023-ktm-1290-super-duke-rr-limited-numbers-unlimited-fury</link>
    <description>
        Following the roaring success of the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR in 2021, 500 units of the 2023 KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR will go into production, promising the same levels of ferocity but with a meaner, darker look.
The KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR will once again rip into the tarmac, leaving a deep, lasting impression as the ultimate numbers-limited Hyper Naked motorcycle in the KTM stable. The numbers tell the story 1,301 cc, 180 hp, 180 kg, and 140 Nm, with a phenomenal 1:1 power-to-weight ratio, making it every bit as beastly as its predecessor, but with a darker shadow.

Sporting a gloss black and matt carbon base, contrasting white graphics, and striking orange accents, the 2023 KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR casts an ominous shadow with menacing intentions. This is further exaggerated with a collection of unique custom-made components, which are specific to the RR, adding more aggression and attitude.

With the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR being 11 kg lighter than a standard KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO, it is equally at home decimating lap times as it is carving up mountain roads, providing riders with the ultimate Hyper Naked package.

However, its the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RRs collection of WP Suspensions finest components that take it from a backroad brawler to an accomplished track day terror. Upfront, a fully adjustable WP APEX PRO 7548 Close cartridge fork has been tailored specifically for the RR, while a custom-made WP APEX PRO 7746 Shock takes charge of the rear. The WP APEX PRO 7117 steering damper keeps things in check and offers 30 clicks to dial it into your specification.

Carbon fiber is used extensively, with the subframe also receiving the lightweight carbon treatment, creating a unique single-seat unit. The LED taillights are incorporated into LED turn signals, as well as KTMs adaptive brake light as standard.

As an added extra to enforce the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR exclusivity, owners will be presented with a bespoke carbon fiber box containing the keys to their new BEAST.

For the absolute power-hungry, a full system Akrapovi EVO line exhaust system is available as an optional extra, which adds even more bite to THE BEAST.

Notable features on the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR include:

1:1 power-to-weight ratio
WP APEX PRO COMPONENTS Suspension
Akrapovi Slip-on exhaust
Exclusive carbon fiber bodywork
Lightweight lithium ion battery
Ultra-lightweight forged wheel
Carbon fiber subframe with a single seat
New, black CTG
Limited to only 500 units
Unique, branded carbon key box
Factory triple clamp
Adjustable CNC-machined rearset

Not only impressive when it comes to hardware, the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR boasts the most complete track-orientated electronics pack ever seen on a KTM motorcycle - as standard, adding advanced TRACK and PERFORMANCE MODE. While the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR already boasts a full range of exclusive components and bodywork, riders looking for more ferocity can browse a full range of specially developed KTM PowerParts, along with a dedicated range of KTM PowerWear. This includes a custom leather race suit, specifically completed with unique KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR branding and matching design.

    <title>TAKE THE ROUGHER ROAD WITH THE EXTRA POTENTIAL OF THE REVISED 2023 KTM 390 ADVENTURE</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/take-the-rougher-road-with-the-extra-potential-of-the-revised-2023-ktm-390-adventure</link>
    <description>
        The KTM ADVENTURE family has all the performance and travel/adventure segment-leading features a rider will ever need. Sometimes, however, riders just want the most effective and exciting way to get from A to B, on a motorcycle that entices to an alternative path. This is where the sheer useability, superb power and handling, and engineering of the new spoked wheel 2023 KTM 390 ADVENTURE comes to the fore.

This compact and highly advanced package is one of the most versatile in the KTM range. The 2023 KTM 390 ADVENTURE is not only about the epic outings but also the everyday. Want that serviceable and dependable machine for the commute but also something that can handle a light offroad blast? No problem. Desire a bike that can still put out the torque and motor performance for a longer weekend ride-out with buddies? Easy. Need a modern, developed, race-informed, A2 compliant all-rounder to discover the delights of a trail for the first time? Look no further.

For 2023 KTM have not only splashed the KTM 390 ADVENTURE with a sharp, fresh look but have also beefed-up the offroad credibility even more. The bike now has tough, light black anodised aluminum rims and spoked wheels - 19 front and 17 rear - so even the rockiest routes of bumps and stones will not hinder or halt the journey home. The introduction of spoked wheels to the 2023 KTM 390 ADVENTURE further adds to existing strenghts to emphasise that adventure really can be part of the daily routine.

Elsewhere, the impressively compact 4-stroke 373cc single cylinder engine uses twin overhead camshafts, four valves, a balancer shaft and electronic fuel-injection for smooth and uninterrupted momentum to the beat of 44hp and 37Nm of torque at 7000rpm. Two catalytic converters ensure the system breathes within Euro5 emission targets, while the 14.5-litre fuel tank vapour design also boosts the eco-friendliness of this particular KTM ADVENTURE.

The 2023 KTM 390 ADVENTURE may have smaller dimensions and specs compared to some of its larger siblings but it does not lack the adventure essentials. Ride-by-wire, Motorcycle Traction Control, Cornering ABS, OFFROAD mode (more rear wheel slip) and linked OFFROAD ABS (disengaged on the rear, reduced on the front) are feathered by the 46mm throttle body and the slipper clutch while being administered through the 5 colour TFT and intuitive handlebar switch.

Light weight and unbeatable agility is partly supplied by a chassis that takes its design cues from KTMs work at the sharp end of rally competition. The KTM 390 ADVENTUREs 23 color also comes from this racing background. The steel trellis design and subframe construction achieves a satisfying blend of both feel, flex and long-term comfort; even the wind of the exhaust system is optimised for prime centralisation. WP Suspension APEX hardware is adjustable for compression, rebound and preload and achieves that rare chemistry of tactile grip with the road and confidence-inspiring efficiency for the dirt.

Add bodywork that has been angled to protect zones of the bike and to thrust the rider into full-control stance, a two-tier seat (that can be easily removed to reveal storage space and even swapped out for other models in the KTM PowerParts collection), LED lights, a windshield with two positions and wide all-day footpegs, Brembo BYBRE brakes (320 front and 230mm rear discs with four-piston calipers on the front) and the 2023 KTM 390 ADVENTURE is complete. Live adventurously.

2023 KTM 390 ADVENTURE highlights:

New tougher aluminum spoked wheels for robust extra offroad potential and all-round topline performance granted by the CONTINENTAL TKC70 tyres

Brand new 2023 colour and graphics scheme for fresh vibrant and sporty look

Dependable 373cc 4-stroke single engine pumping out 44hp at 9000 rpm &amp; 37 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. Euro5 ready for the best emissions count

Lightweight and reassuring steel trellis chassis with adjustable WP APEX 43 mm forks and shock

Bosch electronics helping to inform the latest generation of Motorcycle Traction Control and Cornering ABS systems

172 kg fully fuelled, 14.5-litre tank and 830 mm lowest seat height

Wide selection of KTM PowerParts including accessories, aftermarket components, aesthetic touches, riding gear and more

Price and availability to be confirmed.

The KTM 1290 SUPER ADVENTURE R delivered acute offroad positioning by harnessing all of the companys experience, nuance and confidence in the sector, R&amp;D and through competition. The motor, fueled by a 23-liter three-piece tank, and with an improved heat system to disperse temperatures out and away from the rider, can deliver 138 Nm of torque as gently or as forcefully as possible and comes with the reassurance of 15,000 km service intervals.

The KTM 1290 SUPER ADVENTURE R was enabled for the rigors of multiple surfaces by the advanced BOSCH 6D lean angle sensor that informs much of the bikes behavior and myriad of settings through Motorcycle Traction Control, Motorcycle Stability Control, various RIDE MODES, ABS and more. Further evidence that the bike is primed for traction comes through the 48 mm WP XPLOR suspension, featuring split cartridge forks and the modifiable rear shock with 220 mm of travel. The XPLOR materials and the stock settings have been tested and refined for the characteristics of the KTM 1290 SUPER ADVENTURE R. The suspension funnels the maximum level of feedback through the ALPINA aluminum spoked wheels; with an improved sealing system appropriate for tubeless tires. The 2023 KTM 1290 SUPER ADVENTURE R carries Bridgestone AX41s as stock.

    <title>KTM UPDATES ITS 2023 STREET RANGE WITH FRESH NEW COLORWAYS</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/ktm-updates-its-2023-street-range-with-fresh-new-colorways</link>
    <description>KTM introduces new decals and color updates across the 2023 STREET range, allowing riders to find a machine that matches their true READY TO RACE colors.
KTM roars into the new year with a fast-as-ever brace of STREET motorcycles, covering the full spectrum of road-going machines catering to all riders and riding types.

At the entry point, KTM brings the small but mighty KTM 125 DUKE and KTM 390 DUKE Naked machines out to play. These are flanked by the impressive new generation Supersport weapons in KTM RC 125 and KTM RC 390 guises.

Not to be outdone in the mid-weight class, the KTM 790 DUKE makes a re-appearance, with the KTM 890 DUKE GP bringing extreme attitude, and the KTM 890 DUKE R providing the class muscle.

For 2023, the range is updated with new premium hues taking their inspiration from the vibrant KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE RR prototype and Grand Prix teams.

KTM 790 DUKE
THE ORIGINAL SCALPEL slices back onto the scene as an A2 compatible entry point to the KTM mid-weight range, bringing its razor-sharp handling to the beginner segment. This decision comes off the back of a partnership agreement with Chinese manufacturer, CFMOTO, which sees the 790 cc powerplant continued. This means the 105 hp Naked machine will continue to fill a core gap in the market globally. With a dedicated 95 hp A2 compatible version taking on the streets in Europe.

KTM RC 125 / KTM RC 390
Both models in the KTM RC range receive the KTM GP Orange treatment, complete with black exhaust. All 2023 KTM RC models also feature a dark-tinted screen as standard.

KTM 125 DUKE
THE SPAWN OF THE BEAST, the KTM 125 DUKE gets a fresh color update, introducing a blue-on-white motif, accented by an orange tailpiece and striking orange wheels.

KTM 390 DUKE The middle-weight CORNER ROCKET receives two new colorway updates: a vibrant orange and blue/gray option, and stealthy black and matt gray hue adding a darker, more sinister shadow to the streets.

KTM 890 DUKE GP
The KTM 890 DUKE GP introduces more black to the fray, with an eye-catching black-on-white colorway, set off by a striking orange subframe and orange wheels.

    <title>KTM 2023 LC4 RANGE – OWNING EVERY AVENUE</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/ktm-2023-lc4-rangeowning-every-avenue</link>
    <description>The KTM 690 ENDURO R and KTM 690 SMC R have been the class-toppers in their respective applications for over a decade. For 2023, that trend continues in typical KTM fashion, fueled by a true READY TO RACE pedigree.
At the heart of both the KTM 690 ENDURO R and KTM 690 SMC R, lies the most powerful production single-cylinder engine available. With over 30 years of consistent development, the KTM LC4 has slowly morphed from a 553 cc race-spec engine in 1987 to the fully-fledged 693 cc machine it is today.

Not only has the LC4 stood the test of time, but it essentially created a segment unto itself. This has proven to be the ideal baseline for the KTM 690 range, paving the way for two of the most dominating motorcycles to leave the Mattighofen factory.

At the forefront of this powerplay is the KTM 690 ENDURO R. Having been the go-to dual sport machine for many years, it receives a few welcome updates for 2023. Now an even more astute enduro weapon, the KTM 690 ENDURO R offers no compromises when tackling hard enduro-type terrain, and easy, fast-flowing trails.

This is perfectly displayed by Dakar racing expert Xavier de Soultrait in his recent victory at the Transanatolia Rally.

I wanted to challenge myself on the 7-day Transanatolia Rally by racing it with a production machine. The KTM 690 ENDURO R was up to the challenge, and to my surprise, I won the overall bike category. In some sections, I found the KTM 690 ENDURO R was faster than some of my older Rally bikes, with it performing perfectly. The KTM 690 ENDURO R is the ideal weapon for fast-paced and flowing trails, easily capable of holding its own in the Rally world.&quot;

Not to be outdone, the utterly ballistic KTM 690 SMC R has been the slide-king for adrenaline-hunting canyon carvers for decades. Built to be thrashed around twisty mountain roads and tear around race tracks, the KTM 690 SMC R has been the undisputed supermoto king for nearly as long as the wheelies it pulls off.

For 2023, both the KTM 690 ENDURO R and KTM 690 SMC R sport a simple but effective LCD screen providing riders with information like speed, RPM, and an array of essential warning lights. The dashboard&#039;s slimline design also means the line of sight forward is clear of any obstructions.

Likewise, both LC4 machines benefit from Cornering ABS, which allows riders to use full braking power in all conditions, even at big lean angles. This is supported by Offroad ABS on the KTM 690 ENDURO R which reduces ABS efficiency on the front wheel but completely disables ABS on the rear, allowing riders to lock up the rear into a tight turn.

Supermoto ABS replaces this feature on the KTM 690 SMC R, which quite literally pulls out all the stops. When activated, ABS is also reduced on the front wheel and completely disabled on the rear, allowing for big drifts into corners and tire-smoking powerslides out of the apex.

Both machines also receive enhanced CTG and seat treatment, with the KTM 690 ENDURO R taking its styling cues from the competition Enduro range. The KTM 690 SMC R brings an all-new blue and orange adornment to the fray, boosting its overall premium appeal.

Lastly, both machines sport EURO 5-compliant exhaust systems made from precisely engineered high-quality stainless steel. However, thanks in part to KTMs global networks of dealers, the added availability of dedicated KTM PowerWear and KTM PowerParts have been designed to allow for the highest levels of performance, protection, and mobility.

The latest generation of LC4-powered machines offers versatility with a truly unique riding experience. With each model presenting ideal unique arguments for different riding styles, they bring together a dynamic combination of race-bred performance, ergonomics, and technology ready to truly tackle any terrain.

    <title>REVISED, REWORKED AND READY TO RACE: THE 2023 KTM RC 8C IS FIRED-UP</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/revised-reworked-and-ready-to-racethe-2023-ktm-rc-8c-is-fired-up</link>
    <description>Fast and competitive riders spoke and KTM listened. The KTM RC 8C, a purposeful, hand-built, and specific tool for the track was created last year. For 2023 the company have reset the dials. The new model has been overhauled and the spec sheet has been held to the grindstone for an even sharper READY TO RACE profile.
The second generation of the KTM RC 8C required much more than a fresh coat of paint and a tweak to the aero package. As motorcyclists and racers quickly embraced the concept, KTM once more got excited about raising performance thresholds. The result is that the 2023 version boasts a radically evolved LC8c engine, molded specifically for the circuit, upgraded electronic features, even more weight-saving solutions and a raft of high-end components that ensure the bikes competitiveness.

Performance, durability, and all-out capability: these were the central priorities for the dedicated KTM R&amp;D crew for the 2023 KTM RC 8C. The increase of 7hp for maximum power of 135 hp at 11,000 RPM (with torque flushing 98 Nm at 8,250 RPM) was achieved by mods like the installation of new, lighter titanium values and conrods, as well as two piston rings (to refine the oscillating masses), higher compression ratios, a bigger throttle body and a bolstered fuel pump/pressure. Increasing the clutch preload, removing the top balancer, and adjusting the crankcase balancer shaft have delivered durability gains and an additional PANKL oil cooler helps with thermal stability.

The 2023 KTM RC 8Cs dry weight has been optimized to just 142 kg and with the superb agility of the CrMo4 steel frame gives a prototype vibe to successfully attack the inside lines against any superbike. Measures such as the brand-new titanium Akrapovic exhaust system have helped the slimming, but the rapier feel has been augmented by enhanced settings from the very latest configurations of WP PRO COMPONENTS. The WP APEX PRO fork and shock are now softer; elevating comfort, contact and confidence.

Working again with Krmer Motorcycles for fabrication, the 2023 KTM RC 8C is now one of the companys clearest racing expressions: full of capability and intent. Whether a rider is the next Brad Binder seeking training mileage or the next Red Bull MotoGP rookie on the path to Grand Prix stardom, the refined electronics mean that any setting of traction control, mapping and engine braking can fettle the 2023 KTM RC 8C to match the level of ability (or ambition). The race bike can be primed in a number of ways; from the adjustable steering head to the offset of the CNC-machine triple clamps, the throttle response and degree of bite from the unbeatable Brembo Stylema calipers and RCS19 Corsa Corta master cylinder.

A revamped dashboard with GPS data-logger will flash-up the lap-record attempts while the KTM RC16 derived handlebar switches put the riders left thumb in full control while the left foot hammers through the reverse pattern of the race QUICKSHIFTER+.

For the final reminder that the 2023 KTM RC 8C is for racers and born from a company with racing at its very soul, the use of winglets and aerodynamics is a direct correlation to the successful MotoGP program where the KTM RC16 has won seven Grands Prix in only six years of presence on the premier class grid. Downforce and efficiency under braking and acceleration are some of the gains. If rivals and observers are quick enough to catch the 2023 iteration of the KTM RC 8C then they can only be impressed by the menacing black shade, which speaks speed and exclusivity. The project in a nutshell.

To get the wheels rolling in the best (and quickest) way the official handover of the 2023 KTM RC 8C will be toasted with an ultra-special track day for 30 customers at the Circuito Ricardo Tormo in Valencia on April 26th. Select, first-come, first-served places can be secured with former Grand Prix riders offering track tuition and a full KTM and WP Suspension technical crew on hand to dial-in the configuration of the new bike to the 14-corner Grand Prix venue. Accommodation, food, bike transportation logistics from Austria to Spain and then to local dealers is all taken care of. This is the full factory racer experience! For more details click HERE.

The next-level capability and mettle of the reshaped KTM 890 ADVENTURE R came to the fore in the heart of the Idaho mountains.

Taking cues from the KTM 450 RALLY setup, the WP suspension package on the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R, with fully adjustable WP XPLOR forks and a WP XPLOR PDS rear shock, was re-tuned to provide improved feeling to ensure riders reach the end of each stage with reduced fatigue. Further influence from the KTM 450 RALLY is evident in the redesigned bodywork with a new fairing, fuel tank, and cowling, improving aerodynamics and ergonomics, respectively enhancing protection from the elements and the bikes already phenomenal agility. The fact that the 2023 KTM 890 ADVENTURE R is ready for action is also made clear through the new and lower windshield, high front fender and engine protector, for those tricky technical terrains.

The new 5 TFT display equipped with USB-C connecters features a completely new appearance with colored pictograms and intuitive graphics that allow for easy navigation through the menus. In addition, the latest upgrades provide a developed turn-by-turn plus navigation system that allows the rider to select the preferred destination out of their last selections. A new call-out function also allows a favorites call option, with a maximum of 10 numbers, or the option to call one of the 10 last numbers called.

To take the software and hardware potential of the electronics suite to new levels, KTM has also included the next generation of ABS control unit that takes readings from the 6D sensor which continually informs the CMU on the angle, pitch, speed and general behavior of the motorcycle to apply the correct amount of braking force for any given situation. Riders opting to try the bikes potential off the beaten tracks can count on OFFROAD ABS as an integrated element of OFFROAD MODE, or the optional RALLY MODE, without the need to select the OFFROAD ABS separately.

When the trail widens and the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R wants to clock the miles, the 2023 edition provides comfort through the single piece seat with is new colors, which still emphasizes mobility and grip. Count on extra wear resistance thanks to the new Mitas ENDURO TRAIL+ tires combo for the International and European versions. American adventurers can also be seen with LED style indicators to complement the revitalized graphic set for 2023 model.

KTM has taken advantage of the growing electronic capacity of the KTM 890 ADVENTURE R to install a new DEMO MODE, seen for the first time on this 2023 model. The new KTM 890 ADVENTURE R will allow riders to take advantage of all the specs and options for the first 1,500 kilometers, before the rider decides which pack or features to acquire. Thanks to the DEMO MODE setting, adventurers can feel and experience the areas of the bike they prefer, while in the thick of throttle-wringing action.

    <description>
        DRIFT AND LET RIP

You&#039;d be forgiven for thinking the KTM 450 SMR couldn&#039;t possibly get any better. But we&#039;ll let that slide - just as you would be doing when you throw a leg over the latest iteration of pure READY TO RACE perfection. With a frame that is specifically engineered for longitudinal rigidity, stability, and exceptional rider feedback and an engine that blows away the competition with unrelenting power delivery - not to mention the electronic wizardry to rival sports bikes - The KTM 450 SMR is a purpose-built racer with one simple goal - winning championships.

        Engine

The 2023 KTM 450 SMR boasts one of the most manic 4-stroke powerplants in the paddock, with its SOHC engine proving to be the perfect example of advanced engineering. For 2023, the engine is tilted 2 backward with a lower front sprocket position, which together with the benefits of mass centralization and reduced engine weight, the anti-squat behavior of the chassis is second to none. With a peak power output of over 63 HP and an overall engine weight of only 26.8 kg, you&#039;ll leave the competition with more than a little mud on the face.

        Frame

No matter how twisty or technical the track is, you&#039;ll stay in complete control thanks to an all-new frame design that has not only been engineered for longitudinal rigidity but also repositions rotating mass closer to the center of gravity. Precise frame wall thicknesses deliver superior flex characteristics and offers an unmatched rider feel. A new shock mounting also provides improved anti-squat behavior to better traction out of corners, while the footpeg mounting position has moved inwards for less risk of hooking up.

        Handlebar

The KTM 450 SMR is equipped with a tapered handlebar made of high-strength aluminum by NEKEN. The proprietary KTM bend delivers optimal control and unintended rider impacts are absorbed by the newly designed KTM branded handlebar pad, which features the same design patterns as seen on the frame protectors and tank spoilers - now that&#039;s a touch of class.

        Bodywork

The 2023 KTM 450 SMR features an improved rider triangle, providing improved knee contact - especially when standing on the pegs - with improved gripping surfaces all around. In terms of graphics, the 2023 KTM 450 SMR takes its cues from the early 1990s, featuring a little sliver of purple between the contrasting orange graphics.

    <title>GREATEST HITS: WHAT’S ESSENTIAL ABOUT THE 2023 KTM SX BIKES</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/greatest-hitswhats-essential-about-the-2023-ktm-sx-bikes</link>
    <description>
        More than three years of thought, engineering and fabrication have gone into the brand new 12-bike 2023 KTM SX line-up and KTMs game-changing motocrossers broke through the gate for the first time on May 10th. Here are five essential things you should know about the fresh generation

        KTMs launch message for the 2023 platform was pretty clear: the concept and the bikes themselves were very new but the search for excellence and offroad riding perfection was a time-honored approach. Slogans like Nothings Changed hinted at this paradox.

Cutting through the hyperbole and the promises, how will the latest editions of the KTM SXs for juniors and both four-stroke and two-strokes lovers prove that a new benchmark has been found?

Heres your five-point guide

        1. Chassis

KTM has moved on from the chassis that served the brand so well and for a multitude of MX2/250 and MXGP/450 titles at the highest levels of dirtbike racing since 2015 (the time of the last significant KTM SX update) and embraced a brand new anti squat concept. The rear end of the KTM SXs are now noticeable leaner. The new steel frame brings increased longitudinal rigidity; the feeling on the bike is more dynamic and even more agile but more stable and more reassuring no matter the terrain or the conditions. To achieve this, KTM has carefully re-sculpted the chassis with a new aluminum and polymer subframe (weighing just 1.8kg), hollow diecast swing arm, engine mounts and an altered engine position two degrees further backwards in terms of positioning. The frame wall thickness has been optimized to achieve improved specific stiffness in high stress areas such as the steering head and the shock mounts.

    The new anti-squat chassis concept delivers maximum traction when accelerating.
PC @KISKA/RudiSchedl

The theory a product of lessons from all the racing success in the last decade has already proven to be strong. The KTM 250 SX-F has won three Grands Prix at the time of writing and Red Bull KTMs Tom Vialle is situated right at the top of the MX2 world championship standings. In the demanding world of AMA Supercross the KTM 450 SX-F obtained victory and almost half a dozen podiums during the 2022 campaign.

        2. Updated engines

KTM SX and SX-Fs benefit from lighter and more compact motors as well as even more durable components. The low-friction packages still offer the best power-to-weight ratio on the market. New cylinder heads, a fresh sensor on the new PANKL Racing Systems gearboxes permits a quickshifter function from 2nd gear upwards on the four-strokes, a new Keihin engine management system (EMS) takes care of launch control and traction control through the selectable maps. A rollover sensor is an additional safety element that kills the engine in the case of extreme crashes. The hour meter lets the rider know whats going on thanks to the integrated FI status LED and fuel level indicator.

    Wear resistant engine covers finished in black.
PC @KISKA/RudiSchedl
All of these details complement re-designed throttle assemblies for even smoother and snappier response. The engines breath through a new exhaust pipe that counts on two-part header sections to be as compact as possible. Clever construction means the joint position can be accessed and maintained without removing the rear shock. New mounting points and screw lengths point towards the principle idea that the 2023 KTM SXs are more condensed, less heavy and each section of the bike clicks together to create that nimble but powerful riding sensation.

        3. Ergo

KTM has improved the contact points of the 2023 bodywork for better manipulation of the KTM SXs when jumping, scrubbing or simply manhandling through the toughest conditions. Extra control comes via the flat seat profile.

    All new high grip seat material.
PC @KISKA/RudiSchedl
Feeling good means you can search for lap-times longer and the redesigned 7.2-liter fuel tank will outlast the will of the strongest riders. What else? KTM has fashioned new front mudguard fins that help to disperse track soil and the 2023 frame design incorporates bigger but lighter footrests that also offer more ground clearance due to the integrated mounting concept. It might sound like a small detail but the crucial pivot point for the riders feet really adds to feeling of the 2023 KTM SXs. Speaking of feeling, there are new CNC-machined triple clamps with the mounts boasting increased grip surface (so less handlebar twist) and rubber dampers combat vibration.

        4. Invaluable components

Where do we start? KTM SXs rely on the excellence of Brembo for the hydraulic clutch and the braking system but another vital partner is WP Suspension and the whole frame ideology of the 2023 line would not work without the latest generation of the tactile WP XACT front forks and shock. There is plenty to read about when it comes to the new suspension but the highlights are the hydrostops for more bottoming resistance and redesigned fork rings as well as tool-free adjusters for both the front and rear. The shock, in particular, is smaller and is optimized in practically every aspect to slot perfectly into the new linkage and augment the chassis philosophy.

    High and low speed compression damping, as well as rebound damping, can be adjusted by hand.
PC @KISKA/RudiSchedl
High-strength aluminum computational fluid designed radiators (thats a mouthful!) marshal the cooling effect, ODI grips mean riders can say goodbye to messy glue and the whole motorcycle stays planted through ruts and turn with Dunlop GEOMAX MX33 tires; tried-and-tested in AMA Supercross.

Dont forget the new graphics. The colors go in tandem with KTMs change, but no change ethos as the purple haze harks back to the KTM look of the 1990s. Items like the black powder coated frame might be an aesthetic but the material also plays a role in increased resistance to the elements.

        5. 2-strokes

KTM still loves its two-strokes and the innovative FI TPI tech that was launched as part of the EXC enduro models several years ago gets overhauled and becomes far advanced to form EFI on the KTM SXs. A new double injector set-up (one low-load and one top-feed) harnesses performance and a new TPS sensor means an efficient cold start mechanism like the 4-strokes. Better behavior and control when idle, better fuel-air intake and boosted response, power and less cut-outs or hesitations rightfully positions the 2023 KTM SXs as the best 2-strokes to have ever screamed out of the factory doors. Less carbs really does mean more muscle!

    Increased torque and improved rideability mean you can take the fight to the four-strokes, even on the toughest of obstacles.
PC @KISKA/RudiSchedl

    <title>TESTING THE NEW KTM 390 ADVENTURE</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/testing-the-new-ktm-390-adventure</link>
    <description>
        Can a smaller displacement ADVENTURE bike be fun? Thats exactly the question we set off to answer with Quinn Cody riding the new KTM 390 ADVENTURE for a long weekend in the Greek wilderness.

Sometimes handling a big bike can be a bit of a handful. The added weight or horsepower make my personal KTM 1190 ADVENTURE or the KTM 890 ADVENTURE Ive been riding for the last year way better in covering long distances fast. But when it comes to having pure fun in narrow mountain gravel roads, the new KTM 390 ADVENTURE has been a very pleasant surprise.

As much as I like the power of the big orange machines, I will admit that things could easily get out of hand, especially in long days or tricky offroad conditions. The weight sometimes makes pushing your limits on a +200 kg bike tricky. For the launch of the new KTM 390 ADVENTURE, myself

The idea was simple; we would pick up two bikes from Athens, Greece with the goal to ride them through the Greek mountains as we were heading to the basecamp of the European KTM ADVENTURE RALLY. It took us three days to get there and we rode almost 500 km overall in three days.

Ive already been spending time on the Greek land, and I knew what great riding opportunities it offered, especially on a lighter and more versatile adventure bike like the KTM 390 ADVENTURE. For this three-day adventure, I had one of my motorcycling heroes, Quinn Cody, riding alongside me and allowing me to learn from him.

Quinn comes from a long streak of impressive achievements in motorsport, such as participating at the Red Bull Romaniacs on a KTM 1090 ADVENTURE, getting a top-10 at the Dakar Rally and winning the Baja 1000 Rally four times.

Our riding skills were clearly unmatched, but our machines set us on a whole new common ground. He was obviously a much more experienced offroad rider, but I did have broader wisdom in terms of Greek road navigation, as this was his first time in the country. As Ive ridden the previous version of the KTM 390 ADVENTURE, I immediately felt at home on the updated motorcycle in terms of power or handling. My only focus was to think about all the cool places that we could have explored together.

The new model presented an exquisite color scheme, that in my opinion makes it resemble the stunning KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R. In terms of electronics and engine, theres a new setting that allows the OFFROAD TC to remain activated in the event of a brief stall or crash.

We met with Quinn in Athens and picked up two brand new KTM 390 ADVENTURE bikes from KTM Greece. After a quick initial briefing with the staff, we suited up in the latest spanking new KTM PowerWear and hit the road heading towards the mountains. Greece offers an incredible multitude of trails and an immense variety of terrains, which are easy to navigate for me now.

Theres always an element of unpredictability when riding on Greek roads. But, unlike other countries who present restrictions in terms of riding possibilities, Greece has no limitations in where a motorcyclist is allowed to go. Indeed, it is one of the last remaining free-riding paradises in Europe.

The first off-road section was easy and smooth. Narrow but fast gravel roads, right on the edge of the small mountains surrounding the capital. My fully loaded KTM 390 ADVENTURE performed excellently, even riding at high paces. The suspension was surprisingly great even for a big heavy guy like myself.

The riding position while standing up is aggressive and ideal for off-roading situations, but still comfortable enough to be handled with ease. After roughly 90 dusty kilometers, we arrived in the beautiful coastal town of Loutraki, just a few km away from the Corinth Canal. As we started our day rather late, we decided to kick our boots off and wait for the sun to disappear on the horizon.

Nothing is more gratifying than stopping on the side of the road, along the beach, and having a cold drink, at the end of a hot riding day. As nice and comfortable as a hotel can be, nothing compares to sleeping in nature. For this reason, I decided to take my newly acquired friend to one of the most beautiful lakes I knew around and spend our next night wild camping.

The following day, as we started riding early in the morning, I took Quinn through some further but more interesting parts of the peninsula. This meant hitting the highway for a bit and riding straight up a famous ski resort in the Peloponnese region. Even on the highway, the KTM 390 ADVENTURE behaved excellently; it sits smoothly at 110 km/h and has a comfortable riding position while seated.

The best part was clearly the staggeringly low fuel consumption that the engine delivered, averaging an impressive 3.5 liters for every 100 km. Once off the highway, we began climbing up one face of the 2,400 meters peak, via a beautifully paved road. Riding the 390 ADVENTURE up these smooth roads was simply a pleasure. Its maneuverability in the sharp and narrow corners was probably the best in all the Adventure segment.

The adjustable WP suspension and grippy Continental TKC 70 tires, make the 390 one of the best machines out there in terms of riding versatility. Once we reached the beautiful mountain town of Trikala, we started hitting the dirt again. It was hard to keep up with Quinn, but riding the KTM 390 ADVENTURE and not having to deal with a much heavier and powerful bike, gave me the confidence to push a bit harder, and keep up with his pace.

After climbing and descending through a tricky alpine forest section, we finally reached Lake Doxa, where I planned for us to spend the night. The lake had a beautiful grassy shore where we pitched our swags and lit a small fire. It was great to chat with a legend like Quinn and share stories about adventure riding.

The night was peaceful. In the morning a group of horses and dogs greeted us for breakfast and kept us company while we packed our tents. We rode up to a mountain top, just behind the beautiful town of Kalavryta. As I was saving the best for last, I also wanted to entertain my guest with some proper Enduro terrains.

I knew about a steep hill climb where momentum and throttle control were fundamental for the completion of the ride up. I took him there and asked him, obviously, to go first. With a staggering calm and nonchalance, Quinn disabled his Traction Control, stood up on his pegs and took off like a rocket, climbing the hill in one go. Seeing him controlling the bike with such ease and climbing the long uphill like a steinbok, gave me the courage to give it a try.

It was clearly out of my comfort zone to ride up such a steep and rocky hill, but having the KTM 390 ADVENTURE under me gave more confidence in the sense that, if something could have gone wrong, I would have been able to handle the situation. As I correctly foresaw, it took me three attempts to finally ride up that hill.

As we rode off to the highway heading to the ADVENTURE RALLY basecamp in Nafpaktos, I took time to dry off my sweat and appreciate how easy it was to ride this machine. Being so light and maneuverable, it allowed me to easily compensate for the small skill gap that I had allowing me to keep up with a more experienced Dakar rider.

It was a great honor for me tour guide for such a great rider and person as Quinn. Once again, Greece and the KTM 390 ADVENTURE did not disappoint.

    <title>2022 KTM 890 DUKE R—THE SUPER SCALPEL GETS A SHARP NEW LOOK</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/2022-ktm-890-duke-rthe-super-scalpel-gets-a-sharp-new-look</link>
    <description>Having been around since 2020, the KTM 890 DUKE R has proven itself to be the undisputed champion in the middleweight segment. Boasting an impressive 121 HP and 99 Nm of torque, it represents as a serious option for race-centric riders looking for agility, punch, and poise.

The KTM 890 DUKE R is dubbed THE SUPER SCALPEL on account of its lightning-fast steering geometry. Thanks to the load-bearing design of its tubular steel chassis and adjustable WP APEX suspension, it remains a no-compromise middleweight naked bike, equally at home on twisty mountain passes as it is on the racetrack, delivering more power, more torque, and more intense asphalt-carving agility than any other parallel twin in the segment.

While its forward momentum and agility are exemplary, the KTM 890 DUKE R also excels when slowing down. Front monoblock Brembo Stylema calipers grabbing meaty 320 mm discs on the front, along with an adjustable Brembo MCS master cylinder, mean that THE SUPER SCALPEL stops as quickly and precisely as it attacks apexes. A set of sticky Michelin Power Cup 2 tires provides reliable grip on all asphalt surfaces in all weather conditions.

In terms of electronic wizardry, the KTM 890 DUKE R makes use of Cornering ABS and Cornering MTC (motorcycle traction control) with a 6D lean angle sensor that not only detects the side-to-side (roll) and forwards and backward (pitch) movements of the bike, but also the rotation of the bike on its vertical axis (yaw). This translates into comprehensive traction control management, accomplished by the use of a wheel slip control sensor and a pitch angle control sensor.

A selection of ride modesnamely RAIN, STREET, SPORT, and optional TRACK modeensure full rider customization, nine levels of adjustable traction control slip, anti-wheelie on/off, and the additional throttle control setting.

The biggest difference is obvious: the KTM 890 DUKE R now features a premium hue of matt paint. Called Atlantic Blue, the color is reminiscent of the palate used on the KTM RC16 GP racer and recently the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R, adding to THE SUPER SCALPELs READY TO RACE demeanor. Typical of all KTM R models, the signature orange frame continues to provide the perfect contrast of colors while strengthening the READY TO RACE presence.

With its new look to match its performance and character, the KTM 890 DUKE R once again promises to be a track-ready machine youll want to ride every day.

As always, a full range of specially created KTM PowerParts has been developed to personalize and further intensify your ride. A range of KTM PowerWear ensures the rider gets the most out of themself and boosts their READY TO RACE performance.

    <title>KTM BOLSTERS NEW KTM 390 ADVENTURE WITH MORE FREE-ROAMING SPIRIT FOR ADVENTURERS OF ALL DEMANDS</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/ktm-bolsters-new-ktm-390-adventure-with-more-free-roaming-spirit-for-adventurers-of-all-demands</link>
    <description>Setting the benchmark in the smaller cylinder segment for outstanding power-to-weight, technology, and riding agility, the KTM 390 ADVENTURE is getting a fresh look and some key upgrades for 2022 that bring it closer than ever before to the full range of larger-displacement KTM ADVENTURE machines.

Further enhancing its potential to take riders to places far beyond the ordinary paths, the 2022 models extensive list of electronic features has been amplified with the addition of STREET and OFFROAD modes for Traction Control. Selecting OFFROAD from STREET will give the KTM a degree of rear wheel slip to enable even easier use of the bike in loose or wet terrain.

The KTM 390 ADVENTURE can be taken and pushed to the extreme and if the conditions momentarily get the better of the rider the OFFROAD TC will remain activated in the event of a brief stall or fall. The additional Traction Control capabilities mean its easier to get even more exploratory, allowing the KTM 390 ADVENTURE to consolidate its spot as the segment leader in terms of technology and electronic features.

Allowing riders to reach new extremes, KTM has given the 2022 KTM 390 ADVENTURE a set of even more robust cast wheels. The construction of the components is based around five spokes instead of six and this configuration permits increased stiffness and resistance for the rims.

For 2022, the visual identity of the KTM 390 ADVENTURE is bringing it even closer to the race-winning machines in the dunes and deserts around the globe. Available in two distinct color versions, both options highlight the sharp lines of KTMs ultra-versatile adventurer.

Curious and skilled riders can also find all their requirements and juice at the throttle of the 2022 KTM 390 ADVENTURE. To prove the point, KTM enlisted the help of multi-time Baja winner Quinn Cody and world traveler Paolo Cattaneo to provide the ultimate verdict from their own weekend adventure here.

Enviable power is provided by the state-of-the-art, single cylinder, 4-stroke Euro5 motor gunning 43 hp and 37 Nm of torque. Additionally, the frame is based on the knowledge collected from millions of race kilometers for the right blend of flex, stability and control in straight line performance.

The bikes famed agility is combined with the carefully considered ergonomics that place the rider right in the heart of the bikes movements. The 2022 KTM 390 ADVENTURE can be steered like an offroader as much as it can flip into cruise for longer highway stretches, and the new look through the colors and graphics mean that the aesthetic is as sharp as the attributes.

KTM 390 ADVENTURE  HIGHLIGHTS
// Enhanced electronics as standard &amp; OFFROAD TC for added adventuring potential
// Stronger &amp; more resistant wheels for tougher riding
// 43 hp &amp; 37 Nm of torque through the latest Euro5 crafted engine

    <title>EXPAND YOUR HUNTING GROUND ON THE 2022 KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/expand-your-hunting-ground-on-the-2022-ktm-1290-super-duke-gt</link>
    <description>In a segment that necessitates comfort and the ability to cover ground effortlessly, the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT rewrites the rulebook. Designed to offer riders a unique Grand Touring experience but engineered to be a true Sports bike underneath the touring parts, the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT covers ground unlike any Sports Tourer on the market.

Thanks to its EURO 5 rated, 175 HP, 141 Nm KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R-derived, 1,301 cc V-twin engine, this is the class leader when it comes to punching a hole in the atmosphere or hauling in the horizon. But its not only forward momentum where the long-distance BEAST is true to its namesake.

The WP APEX semi-active suspension on the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT works with a specific logic. The design approach to preload adjustability of the rear shock has been geared for the long-distance tourer and is very intuitive. The logic allows riders to set the suspension up according to four different real-life riding situations, namely: RIDER, RIDER &amp; PILLION, RIDER &amp; LUGGAGE, or RIDER, PILLION &amp; LUGGAGE. On top of that, the anti-dive function is fitted as standard.

A new 7 inch-TFT display allows for quick and easy ride adjustment on the fly, thanks to a newly designed layout striking the perfect balance between information and style. The set-up is completed by the new robust switchgear that not only feels premium but also allows for intuitive interaction between the rider and the dash itself.

The wheels on the 2022 KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT have been lifted from the latest KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R. These boast a weight saving of 1 kg of unsprung mass over the old set of rims; this not only improves the overall handling but also sports a more aggressive wheel design.

These all-new lightweight wheels are wrapped in new rubber, namely Continental ContiSportAttack 4. The ContiSportAttack 4 boasts a sportier and a more stable riding experience, delivering on the demand for a sportier tire to match the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GTs versatile abilities.

The KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT will also debut an all-new navigation system called Turn-by-turn PLUS which will further enhance the touring experience. TBT+ will be available via KTM Connect. This allows navigation instructions to be projected directly on the new 7-inch TFT display, helping riders navigate more effectively. Turn-by-turn PLUS will be launched on the 2022 KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT, with roll-outs to other models in the near future.

Powered by SYGIC, TBT+ can also operate offline, allowing riders to plan their journey and adventure from remote locations, with the NAVIGATION feature using industry-standard mapping to guide riders to their destination of choice. Theres also an advanced search feature, and a diverse range of POIs including gas stations, restaurants, rest stops, while the system lets you select one of your pre-saved destinations directly from the TFT dash. All the above features can be accessed directly from the new 7-inch TFT dash, while the rider no longer needs to remove their phone from the jacket pocket, making it more convenient and efficient for those quick on-the-fly changes.

The new system also allows for waypoints to be skipped without prompting a turnaround. The system will merely recalculate and find the next available route to get you back on track. Also, the last 10 destinations searched are automatically saved and available directly on the dashboard.

2022 KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE GT - HIGHLIGHTS
// Updated, EURO 5 LC8 V-twin
// 23 liter tank
// Lightweight wheels saving nearly 1 kg of unsprung mass
// All-new 7 TFT dashboard
// Turn-by-turn PLUS Navigation (TBT+)
// New handlebar switches
// Continental ContiSportAttack 4
// Optional PERFORMANCE MODE
// Optional TECH PACK
// Exclusive KTM SUPER DUKE GT specific CTG

A full range of specially created KTM PowerParts has been developed to personalize and further intensify your ride. A dedicated range of KTM PowerWear ensures riders are kitted out to tackle whatever their journey might throw at them.

    <title>2022 KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R AND KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO - THE BEAST, EVOLVED</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/2022-ktm-1290-super-duke-r-and-ktm-1290-super-duke-r-evo-the-beast-evolved</link>
    <description>KTMs flagship street motorcycle underwent its most radical re-invention in 2020, boasting a number of tweaks and engineering improvements. The 2020 KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R underwent dramatic weight savings with a reworked LC8 engine. The electronics package has also been updated, making THE BEAST one of the most technologically advanced naked motorcycles in the segment.

For the model year 2022, KTM has launched a new incarnation of the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R that delivers exactly what riders asked for.

Dubbed the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO and drawing on the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE Rs already legendary status among riders, the EVO brings more tech to the fore, adding 2nd generation WP APEX semi-active suspension from WP.

With new Semi-Active Technology (SAT), the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO retains its class-leading hyper-naked ferocity but gains an even wider range of usability. This allows THE BEAST to go from a comfortable rocket on poor road surfaces to a hardened track-ready apex-splitting weapon - at a simple click of a switch.

Three different damping modes - COMFORT, STREET, SPORT - are available as standard.

In addition, the spring preload of the rear suspension can be set via the TFT menu to up to 20 mm in 10 steps, depending on the requirements of the rider. In this case, the adjustability setting ranges from 0% to 100%, in 10% or 2mm increments.

In addition to the standard suspension settings, the optional SUSPENSION PRO package offers three more damping modes, namely TRACK, ADVANCED, and AUTO.

- TRACK provides the stiffest available setting developed internally by KTM test riders to provide the ideal setting for track days and specifically for faster race tracks where you need additional support under hard braking.
- ADVANCED allows the rider to select the level of damping for the fork and shock on a scale from 1 to 8. This suits more technical riders who are looking for the smallest marginal gains and want to fine-tune and tailor their suspension settings for their riding styles.
- AUTO is the most intelligent of the trio and is capable of detecting different riding styles and automatically adapting the suspension damping, being softer and more comfortable when cruising through the city, and harder and more focused when riding aggressively on a fast mountain pass. This auto adjustment between modes happens almost instantly without any interference in the ride.

SUSPENSION PRO also offers three automatic preload auto-leveling settings LOW, STANDARD, and HIGH. In this instance, the suspension is able to adjust the preload automatically in accordance with the weight of the rider and recreate 3 defined geometries:
- AUTO-STANDARD: neutral and balanced geometry
- AUTO-LOW: relaxed, less aggressive, more comfortable geometry, with a lower seat height
- AUTO-HIGH: aggressive, agile track attack geometry, with a more loaded front end

Another optional feature on SUSPENSION PRO is an anti-diving setting that keeps the front-end high under hard braking. As with most electronic functions, it can of course be switched off if desired.

The KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO continue to feature the RAIN, STREET, SPORT, and optional TRACK and PERFORMANCE ride modes, affording riders improved feedback about what the engine is doing, with less intrusive traction control and anti-wheelie mitigation.
Selecting any of the above settings can be performed on the fly.

Throttle response is given a further boost with the addition of a new quick-turn throttle twist grip, reduced by 7 degrees to 65 degrees. KTM R&amp;D developed this solution not only to offer a faster and more responsive throttle, but also to reduce the rider wrist angle as well as the elbow drop at full throttle.

In terms of looks, the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R and KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R EVO retain an aggressive street presence but introduce two new colorways. A familiar blue and orange livery is flanked by an all-new silver and orange, which complement the aggressive and hard-hitting appeal of the KTM 1290 SUPER DUKE R. The signature KTM orange frame - reserved only for KTM R models - and hot orange wheels give a visible warning to competitors: this BEAST is ready to attack.

A full range of specially created KTM PowerParts has been developed to personalize and further intensify your ride. A dedicated range of KTM PowerWear ensures the rider can give everything theyve got and boosts their READY TO RACE performance.

    <title>Adventure with no limit: introducing the KTM 790 ADVENTURE R RALLY</title>
    <link>https://www.premierbikes.com/news/adventure-with-no-limitintroducing-the-ktm-790-adventure-r-rally</link>
    <description>estricted to just 500 units worldwide, the third and newest member of the KTM 790 ADVENTURE family is positioned as the most travel capable rally bike. For those riders who demand the most hardcore performance and the very best suspension equipment available, this is the machine that will easily cross continents in order to ride to the start line of a rally.

Based heavily on the KTM 790 ADVENTURE R, this exclusive model retains the same steel trellis chassis and the potent and compact 95hp LC8c parallel twin engine, with the major component difference being the addition of the special WP XPLOR PRO suspension. Built in the same department as WPs Factory Racing equipment, it offers similar levels of performance for extreme riding. An additional 30mm of suspension travel front and back helps clear the most awkward obstacles and also creates a seat height of 910mm for this special model.

The WP XPLOR PRO 7548 fork uses cone valve technology; a unique valving system that permits almost limitless damping performance and combines comfort with bottoming resistance. Setting levels that normally can only be achieved by changing the shim stack can now be adjusted from the outside. The cone valve allows unlimited opening, so any harshness of the suspension is reduced.

The high quality and fully adjustable WP XPLOR PRO 6746 shock absorber for the KTM 790 ADVENTURE R RALLY has been developed based on KTMs unrivalled experience from top-level rally competition. Due to modern, low-friction components, the shock absorber shows a significant increase in its damping performance and reduces the physical strain for riders. The shock absorber employs a progressive damping system (PDS) and has completely and easily adjustable damping behaviour.

To emphasize its READY TO RACE credentials, along with the WP XPLOR PRO suspension the KTM 790 ADVENTURE R RALLY features a weight-saving Akrapovi exhaust, carbon fibre tank protectors and Quickshifter+ as standard. Easily distinguished by its unique color and graphic design with a clear screen and winglets, this special edition model comes with narrower rims fitted with tubes for hard offroad conditions, a high, straight racing seat to improve racing ergonomics and Rally footrests for comfort and grip when standing for long days.

    <description>Developed on the toughest climbs, gnarliest terrain and in deepest mud with our Red Bull KTM Factory Racing stars, the benchmark-setting KTM enduros have just raised the bar. The 2020 line-up includes the new model KTM 150 EXC TPI, which is homologated for Euro 4, the KTM 250 EXC TPI and KTM 300 EXC TPI 2-strokes, as well as the KTM 250 EXC-F, KTM 350 EXC-F, KTM 450 EXC-F and KTM 500 EXC-F 4-strokes.

Following on from KTMs many advancements in technology with its enduro machines in recent years, this wide range of KTM EXC models boasts the very latest in innovation. The model year 2020 enduros have new and more efficient, yet high-performing, engines, a re-developed chassis with improved WP XPLOR suspension, improved handling, new bodywork, a new air filter box, a new cooling system, and new exhaust systems. This, combined with the high-quality NEKEN handlebar, Brembo brakes, No-Dirt footpegs, and CNC milled hubs with Giant rims fitted as standard equipment, ensures that the KTM EXC model year 2020 are the best performing and most extreme enduro bikes on the market.

The flagship KTM SIX DAYS models offer a premium package and these world-beating enduros are widely regarded as the best competition machines on the market. With the International Six Days Enduro at the core of the design of these bikes, the SIX DAYS models celebrate the sport of enduro and have a wide range of well-thought out KTM PowerParts fitted over the standard models of KTM EXC.

In addition, KTM is excited to announce the ultra-prestigious KTM 300 EXC TPI ERZBERGRODEO machine, a limited production of 500 units, which has been created as a tribute to the iconic Austrian hard enduro event now in its 25th year. With a long list of additional READY TO RACE parts, as well as an exclusive graphic design, this special edition is the ultimate machine for the journey to extreme.
