2 STROKE POWER & TBI
At its core, the KTM 300 EXC HARDENDURO delivers strong low-end torque and highly responsive power, making it ideal for technical hard enduro terrain where traction, precision, and control are critical. Equipped with advanced Throttle Body Injection (TBI) and a separate oil injection system, it ensures optimal fuel-air mixture and consistent performance across all conditions, reducing rider workload and ensuring reliable performance across varying altitudes and temperatures. Its lightweight design enhances agility, allowing riders to navigate tight, slow-speed technical sections with greater confidence and reduced fatigue.
RACE-READY DRIVETRAIN
The KTM EXC drivetrain is engineered for durability and efficient power transfer in extreme conditions, ensuring consistent drive in high-load, low-speed scenarios typical of hard enduro. On the KTM 300 EXC HARDENDURO, this is complemented by a Supersprox stealth rear sprocket and additional HARDENDURO-specific components such as an orange oil plug and clutch slave cylinder protection, ensuring durability and reliability in the harshest environments.
HARDENDURO PROTECTION PACKAGE
Designed for extreme terrain, the HARDENDURO adds a comprehensive protection setup including a radiator fan, skid plate, frame protection set, and front and rear brake disc guards. Additional HARDENDURO components such as black anodized engine hangers further improve durability and resistance in extreme riding conditions.
WP XACT CLOSED CARTRIDGE FORK
The KTM EXC range features 48 mm WP XACT Closed Cartridge forks, delivering consistent damping and precise control. With full adjustability of compression and rebound without tools, riders can quickly adapt suspension settings to changing terrain. For improved setup precision, the KTM 300 EXC HARDENDURO features preload adjusters for fast and accurate front-end tuning, allowing riders to fine-tune performance for slow, technical climbs or aggressive obstacle sections.
WP XPLOR PDS REAR SHOCK
The WP XPLOR PDS rear shock provides progressive damping, improving traction and maintaining ground clearance in extreme sections. Its low-maintenance design ensures consistent performance, helping maintain drive and rear-wheel traction over rocks, roots, and loose terrain.
RACE-OPTIMIZED FRAME
Engineered for longitudinal rigidity, the KTM EXC frame delivers precise rider feedback, stability at speed, and confidence in technical terrain. The signature orange frame highlights its HARDENDURO identity while maintaining proven handling characteristics.
CNC TRIPLE CLAMPS & STEERING PRECISION
Black anodized CNC-machined triple clamps improve front-end stiffness and alignment, delivering precise steering feedback. Combined with a front axle puller, they also support fast and efficient wheel servicing.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE BRAKING SYSTEM
The KTM 300 EXC HARDENDURO features a floating front brake disc and solid rear disc for strong and consistent braking performance. Additional protection components, including front and rear disc guards and a rear brake safety wire, ensure reliability in extreme terrain.
MAP-SELECT & ENGINE MANAGEMENT
A handlebar-mounted map-select switch allows riders to quickly adapt power delivery to different terrain. This system ensures optimal performance whether tackling technical climbs or fast sections.
OFFROAD CONTROL UNIT (OCU)
The Offroad Control Unit replaces traditional fuses and relays with a smart, integrated system. It continuously manages electrical outputs and automatically isolates faults, ensuring reliability and easy diagnostics in remote hard enduro environments where support is limited.
HARDENDURO CONTROL PACKAGE
To improve rider control in extreme terrain, the KTM 300 EXC HARDENDURO is equipped with pull straps, soft ODI grips, a Hard Enduro-specific bar pad design, and closed handguards. These features enhance handling, reduce effort, and increase confidence in technical sections.
