Representing the most powerful production 250 cc four-stroke motocross engine on the market. With a 14,500 rpm limit, production 250cc motocross performance has entered a new era. Years of development have resulted in an all-new engine platform delivering stronger power, sharper response, and unprecedented performance throughout the rev range. A redesigned cylinder head, revised valvetrain, new intake concept, advanced fuel injection system, and next-generation electronics combine to create the most powerful production 250cc four-stroke motocross engine ever built. FASTER, BETTER
Built to perform at the highest level, the engine benefits from a completely revised intake, fuel injection and cooling package. A new throttle body, updated injector layout, improved combustion efficiency and a model-specific exhaust system with twin resonator chambers help broaden the power delivery and sharpen response while meeting the latest 109 dB race regulations. The result is more usable performance, improved rideability and sharper throttle response wherever the gate drops.
SLICKER, SMOOTHER
A new Engine Management System processes information faster and more precisely than ever before, resulting in improved ignition control, fueling and gear-dependent mapping. New knock-control technology helps protect the engine while allowing the latest mapping to deliver consistent performance across changing conditions. A redesigned gearbox and updated Quickshifter strategy deliver smoother, faster shifts while helping riders maintain momentum when every fraction of a second matters.
TOP-FEED ADVANTAGE
A completely redesigned airbox improves airflow, filtration and overall engine performance while offering increased protection from dust, mud and water. A key innovation is the introduction of a top-feed fuel injection system, developed from KTM's racing experience at the highest level of motocross. By positioning the injector higher in the intake tract, fuel and air have more time to mix before entering the combustion chamber, improving atomization, combustion efficiency and throttle response. The new airbox layout also supports more consistent performance across changing track conditions, helping deliver the strong, race-winning power characteristics that define the next generation.
ACUTE FEEL
The all-new chassis has been developed to deliver sharper handling, improved stability and greater rider confidence. A lighter frame, revised stiffness characteristics and updated engine mounts create a more precise feel when attacking corners while maintaining the straight-line stability KTM riders expect at speed. Positioned 2.3 mm higher in the frame, the engine also contributes to improved mass centralization and a more balanced handling character. The result is a bike that feels more agile, predictable and responsive than ever before.
LIGHTER. SHARPER.
A completely redesigned 1.23 kg aluminum subframe, the lightest KTM has ever produced, and a new die-cast aluminum swingarm contribute to reduced weight and improved handling precision. The swingarm has been optimized to complement the new chassis flex characteristics, while the updated chain tensioner allows the wheelbase to be extended by 5 mm. Together, these changes create a setup that feels planted and predictable, with greater flexibility to adapt to different tracks and rider preferences.
GRASP THE GAS
The new-generation bodywork and rider triangle are designed to improve control in every riding situation. A slimmer profile, improved contact areas and revised ergonomics help riders move freely across the motorcycle while maintaining maximum connection to the machine. New NEKEN handlebars and redesigned CNC-machined triple clamps with an adjustable 22 mm to 24 mm offset complete the package for improved feedback and faster direction changes.
FLOAT AND STING
One of the biggest changes for the new generation is the introduction of the 48 mm WP XACT Closed Cartridge Spring Fork. Developed through extensive testing from amateur to world championship level, the new setup was chosen for its consistent damping, improved front-wheel connection and predictable performance across changing track conditions. Both the fork and shock offer easily accessible adjustment, while the updated rear shock features a new high-speed compression clicker and revised linkage setup for faster, more precise tuning.
ON YOUR MARKS
Every detail has been designed with racing and serviceability in mind. Clearly marked adjustment points, simplified maintenance procedures and improved component accessibility make preparation between motos faster and more intuitive. Updated fork guards feature a revised mounting design to help prevent twisting and contact with the fork seals, while integrated markings support precise setup of the Factory start device. It is practical, race-focused attention to detail that makes a difference before, during and after every moto.
FOR WHEN YOU NEED TO STOP
Premium Brembo braking components continue to deliver exceptional stopping power and control. Updated rear brake pads provide a smoother, more controllable initial response and reduce the tendency for the rear wheel to lock at the start of braking. The revised rear brake lever features an adjustable tip, allowing its position to be moved 5 mm forward or backward to suit different boot sizes and rider preferences.
